A new survey has found that Americans are among the most negative people on the planet.
Gallups latest update on the worlds emotional state reported that 55 percent of Americans said they experienced a lot of stress in 2018, one of the highest rates out of the 143 countries polled and well above the global average of 35 percent.
The U.S. trailed only Greece (59 percent), the Philippines (58 percent) and Tanzania (57 percent) on the stress table and is tied with Iran, Albania and Sri Lanka at 55 percent.
The poll also reported that 45 percent of Americans said they felt worried a lot, and more than one in five, 22 percent of Americans said they felt angry a lot.
And according to Gallup, the economy's not the problem, as the survey found the levels of negative emotions are even higher than during the Great Recession.

Maybe they are just realistic.
Take Democrats out of the loop and bitching will go down 70%.
[Or, as a college professor I had in the late 70’s so eloquently put it:
“Americans like to bitch.” ]
That is so sad.
So sad.
The cure is here!!!

Not much to complain about really
WE ARE NOT
Yeah, well I guess that would be me. I’m over 60. I wear Bermuda shorts, a white sleeveless T shirt, black socks and black dress shoes, stand on my lawn yelling at the kids who ride their bikes to close to my car. Yup. I block the aisle at Shop Rite with my cart and won’t move until “I’m damn good and ready lady!’’. I drive 45 mph in the passing lane with my left blinker going the whole time. Yup, that’s me, I’m that guy. A regular ray ‘o’ sunshine I am!
Stay away from social media!
Here, here. Just the other day some nut on this very site was trying to convince me the world will end specifically in the fall of 2024. When someone purports to know when the end will come, it screams “cultist”
Yes, I thought about commenting that half these Christians aren’t lamenting the end times, but eagerly awaiting them. Personally, but I couldn’t care less about the second coming. I’d much rather live long enough to see my grandchildren and great grandchildren. I pretty much walked away from Christianity because I view it all this end of the world stuff as a self fulfilling prophecy. People who anticipate the end of the world, and see every bad thing that happens as a sign that the end is nigh, tend to just fatalistically accept things that they could and should actually do something about. Sure, they might bitch about it first, but then, the “Jesus is coming soon” circuit trips somewhere in their brains and they accept it as the tragic “new normal” and a sign of the Apocalypse, and sit back and try to isolate themselves from the problem until Jesus comes back to rescue them, never for a moment stopping to think, “What if Jesus isn’t coming back soon?” Then some other societal devolution comes along and the mental gymnastics begin all over again. It’s asinine. The world might end sooner rather than later, but if it does its because we sat back and let everything fall to pieces.
50 years of dishonest money and massive vote fraud should do it...
It’s a wonder people dog tunnels to come to America ...
Us real Americans are very optimistic and love our country. The only ones bitching about things are the libtards, snowflakes and the rest of the far left miscreants.
I don’t need some cock’n bull, “Study” to know I’m right.
Ah, quityourbitchin
That's just great. On top of everything else I have to bitch about, now I have to worry about dog tunnels.
Where will it end ? Cats and Dogs, living together !
Whoever wrote this is full of s—t. People like this shouldn’t even be allowed to breed.
Yeah, well. We got the bombs, so what are you gonna do about it?
