The dictatorship of the left eventually gets to the point where only one union is allowed. Like the Soviet Union, for example.

“Kamala Harris calls for a ban on right-to-work laws”

If we had an honest and educated news media, they might ask her under what Constitutional power the president and / or Congress can ban a state’s legislation.

If it is even possible for the federal government to ban right-to-work laws, then the states are essentially enacting illegal legislation with no Constitutional authority to do so.

The only Constitutional ban of right-to-work would be of business being conducted across state lines (interstate commerce). And it would ONLY apply to those workers who are conducting interstate commerce. Otherwise it would require amending the Constitution to reserve such a power for Congress. And that’s a high bar.

CA Is Owned lock stock and barrel by the freaking unions

Our great and wonderful president Donald J Trump has won effectively defunding them and now they’re really scrambling

There was once a place for unions but that time has long since passed

That being said if you want to voluntarily form some kind of union fine but there should be no compulsory anything

I agree.

I am encouraged to watch the unions try and fail to get employees at new facilities to buy into their propaganda.

Out here at Pasadena’s Huntington Memorial Hospital, they tried to unionize the nurses. They pulled every trick in the book.

They failed.

It’s a nice hospital and it’s good to see employees grasp the issues and remain on the same side as their leadership.

Liberals have co-opted terms like love, justice and kindness to equal liberal political demands.

Then “love” trumps rule of law, justice and individual rights because their political dogma is more important than those oppressive, traditional values.

There’s no constitutional authority.

But what does she care about the Constitution?

Eventually everyone becomes a government union worker, or unemployed.

She’s probably like most totalitarians — never heard of Taft and Hartley.

But the American people may see the “out-craziness” as bona fide discussion of “issues.”

You are so right. 3 years ago, I got a county job as a full time clerk. I was happy that I finally got a job, but what I didn’t like was the option and that was 1) Join union and have your dues deducted from your paycheck OR 2) Don’t join the union but a fee will still be deducted. I only lasted for 3 months at the job but I am happy that I no longer had to give my money to the union.

""I'd use my executive authority [??? emphasis added] to make sure barriers are not in place to do the advocacy [unions] need to do," Harris said."
FR: Never Accept the Premise of Your Opponent’s Argument

Patriots are reminded that the states have never expressly constitutionally delegated to the feds the specific power to make laws or executive orders protecting unions.

”From the accepted doctrine that the United States is a government of delegated powers, it follows that those not expressly granted, or reasonably to be implied from such as are conferred, are reserved to the states, or to the people. To forestall any suggestion to the contrary, the Tenth Amendment was adopted. The same proposition, otherwise stated, is that powers not granted are prohibited [emphasis added].” —United States v. Butler, 1936.

So with all due respect to California FReepers, low-information union members are probably are probably clueless that Harris’s campaign promise is an attack on state sovereignty by a post-17th Amendment ratification, institutionally-indoctrinated senator.

Remember in November 2020!

MAGA!

M Kehoe calls for a ban on labor unions.

I also call for anyone getting a position of power not do so on their back.

Democrats are feeling the hurt of losing donations from unions. They also lose the “drone” votes of union members that are practically required to vote how the union does - which is always D.
