A street in a failing city in a failing state named after a failed president.

How apropos.

Residences and businesses are on that road. The businesses will be spending some money changing their signs, ads, letterheads, etc. It happened to a shop I worked for. The powers-that-be renumbered the street lots which was not appreciated by the businesses.

Pretty much every major city has a MLK JR blvd somewhere. It’s always in the more rundown area. They could just put Obama blvd next to it.

They decided this overpass was the perfect location to ne renamed "Obama Boulevard" because it has many things in common with Obama himself:

1. It doesn't go anywhere

2. Serves no useful purpose

3. Huge waste of resources

4. Butt of countless jokes

5. Many people who have followed it have lost everything or just disappeared

6. No record of who initiated construction, who actually built it, who claims ownership

7. All documentation is missing:
   • No blueprints
   • No building permits
   • No quality inspection reports
   • No record of funding sources

The United States is not supposed to have a noble class. So I am against any public property being named after a living person. That goes for roads. And it goes for aircraft carriers as well.
