Fifteen months from now, Democrats will nominate their least electable (with the possible exception of Kamala Harris) candidate for U.S. president, who will then go down in flames. This is not just because he's a Castro-loving nut who traveled to Russia to bond with his fellow commies in the 1980s — voters have short memories and will forgive or ignore history that ancient. And Democrats themselves would not lose sleep over the irony of pitching Crazy Bernie after years of collusion delusion. The specific reasons for Crazy's pending loss (if he lives that long) are as follows.
First: Crazy is too old for change or rebranding. He is an old-school, fleck-spittle socialist, a believer in working-class unity against the exploiters. He does not follow the tribal segmentation practices of modern-day identitarian Democrats. Unlike Crooked, he carries no hot sauce in his purse. He does not "speak to black people" or to any other demographic. He can't get behind open borders. He has not attacked Mike Pence for being Christian, because to him all religion is equally wretched. For the same reason, he will not pander to Muslim-Americans — that's not what true socialists do. He doesn't even seem to view Donald J. Trump as the world's biggest problem (that would be those exploiters). He will be nominated by virtue of his pre-existing (2016) base as well as crowding in the Democrat field, even as his colorblind, sex-blind, orientation-blind, non-culture-warrior approach is alien to the majority of the party's new hard base of tribes, grievance groups, bitter her-turners, and social justice warriors. We saw how almost no blacks voted for Crazy in the 2016 Democrat primaries, and they will not turn out for him at near Obama-level numbers in the 2020 general....

And that last bit is the key. Blacks won’t turn out for an old white guy nor will they turn out for a white homo. If the Rats lose just a quarter of the black vote they are in serious trouble.
Wanting to increase gov’t spending to somewhere around 120% of GDP doesn’t help.

This is why the DNC establishment screwed Bernie last time and why they will screw him again.
Bern lost in 2016 thanks entirely to the DNC and the Clinton Crime Foundation conspiring to crush him like a bug.
I don’t doubt for a minute that he will lose the same way in 2020 simply because The Pantsuit carries a grudge. She may not be involved in 2020, but she’ll carry over the hate.
Bernie will be one of the first (again) to leave the race.
Bernie was still running until June of 2016.
The SocialDemocrats have to lose enough votes that their city machines can’t manufacture enough votes and I am not sure that is believable . The DSocDems now know from 2016 and 18 that they can report a vote count from a SocDem city that is multiples of the possible voting population in that city and only a few talk show hosts will decry it. The totals reported will be accepted without even a murmur by the Republicans, even the Tea Party Republicans and will not be challenged or overturned. Enough States have such SocDem cities that they can hand over to the Democrat, even Bernie, most of the states in the country and I strongly suspect that is precisely what they will do unless DJT all bty himself manages to shut down that vote chicanery before the election,
The nominee will be Kamala Harris.
If a woman couldn't win last time, then double down with a "Black" woman.

Not even the Democrats are that crazy, and the Clintoons have lost a lot of their MoJo over their failure to nail Trump with Russian Collusion that they themselves tried to conjure up.
If the promised investigations into the Clintoon Slush Foundation ever come to be, they may be in an even weaker position by the time the Convention rolls around.
No, the old guard Democrats (SanFran Nan Pelosi, upChuck Schumer, DiFi, the Clintoons,) are losing their grip on the party, and the upstarts like Ocrazio-Cortex and the Muslim Sisterhood are taking over.
Harris will be the nominee, because she ticks more boxes for the Rabid Left than a Gay White Guy, a Fake Mexican White Guy, or a pair of Really Old White Guys do.(Don't forget that Shotgun Joe Biden is jumping in the race next week.)

It would appear that for reasons of extreme weirdness and metrosexuality, the appropriately surnamed mayor of South Bend might be the collectivist choice to take on Mr Trump in the final round.
That is not a minus nowadays. Rebranding is out. Authenticity is in.
I'm not saying Bernie would win, but contrived and phony are major turn-offs for voters.

Hillary might try but she has lost power so her chances are way down. Many are no longer afraid of her and they know there is strength in numbers.

With Black unemployment at a modern low, Kanye West wearing a MAGA hat (although he's been silent as of late,) and President Trump's approval ratings on the rise, the Democrats need to shore up the Black and Woman vote, and Kamala has a better chance of keeping both groups than any white guy.
