I just listened to it. This infantile ditty is a 3-genre hit? What a disgrace to the industry. At least I got to confirm once more that the western music industry is still a flaming dumpster fire.

Anything but talent which is what used to count for success, and record sales. Now the sine qua non is being insulted by the clowns on social media and of course--the race card. What a joke of a society we have become.

It’s pretty bad and just think it will make millions for this Lil Nas. The world has gone mad.

He’s right! Just like country pop is basically pop music with a slight ‘twang’ in it. Mind you that country music in general isn’t my favorite kind of music to listen to but I do recognize that this genre is pretty nonexistent in its original format now and days

I’m satisfied with all my old BOB WILLS AND THE TEXAS PLAYBOYS, SPADE COOLEY, HOYLE NIX, Marty Robbins and BUCK OWENS records from the past. Haven’t listened to what passes for country music in forty years.

Not long ago I was in a farm supply store and they had someone howling some song over the intercom. I’m saying...”What in the H-— is that noise!”! Then I realized it was some noise being passed off as a “Country music”.

Lil Nas X - Old Town Road (I Got The Horses In The Back)

It's okay I guess. Never really breaks out as far as I'm concerned.
