Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) walked onstage here Friday under a gray sky with occasional specks of snow and launched into a full-on attack against President Trump, labeling him a “pathological liar” in a state that was key to Trump’s victory in 2016.
He repeated the epithet Saturday at a union hall in Michigan, another Trump state, and again on Sunday at a park in Pennsylvania, where Trump also won. “The biggest lie was that he was going to stand up for working families and take on the establishment,” Sanders said.
The blistering attacks on the president reflect Sanders’s developing, and arguably risky, strategy of reaching out to Trump’s voters — people the president has said would support him even if he shot someone. It’s a sharp contrast with other Democratic candidates who are focused on mobilizing Trump opponents. Not incidentally, it is also a way to signal Democrats that Sanders is their best hope for knocking off Trump.

He might be able to do it in a few of the close swing states like PA, MI, WI and OH. It’s the union votes he will be going after. But he may lose some of the nonunion votes in the process.

Even the afterberners that switched over to Trump after Hillary stole the nomination from him have really been disillusioned by Sanders.
Believe me, the media (and their owners) do NOT like Sanders. I worry about his life. He’s not part of their “owned” cabal.

Bernie, ‘working families’ are all of us, not just union members.
POTUS’ policies and actions increased jobs, increased wages, decreased taxes. He’s trying to get rid of the illegals who undercut workers at the lower end of the spectrum. He wants our towns to be safer. I call that standing up for working families.
POTUS is taking on the establishment. All of it. Have you been living under a rock? He fights the Deep State and the international globalists daily. He stands up to the press, the corrupt intelligence community and all the fake pearl clutching your side can throw at him. He demands universities actually allow free speech. Oh: he does this for both sides of the aisle. He takes on the pharmaceutical industry, the health care insurers, the judiciary.
He is the most combative POTUS since Truman (who would be a Republican, today).
Was there another ‘establishment’ you had in mind?
The only reason Bernie had a following was because anti GOP Democrats didn’t want Hillary.Seems like there are plenty of choices this time other than Bernie.
But more importantly, does Bernie really smell like mothballs?
He’s a lying puke. He can’t offer anything to the working person except socialist rhetoric. He has no business lying about Trump.

If someone who supported Trump decided to support Bernie Sanders, that person isn’t worth a cup of warm spit intellectually.
