that’s exactly right ... attack Trump and you are attacking us ... it’s no way to attract voters ... my guess is that whoever the Dem nominee is, they’ll end up attacking Trump supporters as more and more desperation sets in ...
there’s also two other problems with the attack-Trump strategy:
1. the nation is suffering from attack-fatigue given that the Dems and dying lying lefist fake stream enemedia will have all been attacking him 24x7x365 for four years,
2. lots of voters are going to want to know what the Dem nominee’s positions are on the myriad of OTHER issues besides hate-Trump.
Bernie is not going to get the nomination. The Democrats may be crazy, but they’re not so crazy that they would nominate an old, White, Jewish socialist for POTUS. As in 2016, they’ll find a way to ease him out.
My guess is it will be either Biden/Harris or Harris/Buttigeig

But I will say this: Harry Truman was a Democrat party hack. He cared more about the well-being of the Democrat party than he did about the national security of this country. Harry Dexter White and Alger Hiss were two notable examples.
I used to respect his feistiness, but over the years as I became aware of his dissembling and obstruction with respect to Communists in the government, I lost much of that respect.
That said, I have to agree Truman would be some form of Republican today, perhaps not one I would take a shine to, but he wouldn’t be a Democrat...
