Former Secretary of State John Kerry defended freshman Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) on Tuesday for offering "more leadership in one day or one week than President Trump has in his lifetime" on climate change.
The House Oversight and Reform Committee meeting where Kerry testified was meant to address the intersection of climate change and national security, but several Republicans on the committee used their opening remarks to critique Ocasio-Cortez’s (D-N.Y.) Green New Deal plan to tackle climate change.
Kerry also criticized Republicans for a failure to offer up a proposal of their own.

“Leadership on climate” is not a winning strategy, especially when the direction in which it is being led is totally counterproductive in both terms of cost and effective action.
Climate is what it is. Adapt. The feeble attempts of mankind cannot alter the greater bulk of climatic change, such as it is, in any meaningful way.
Carbon dioxide is plant food, and by definition, is no more of a pollutant than water.
Kerry needs a brain.

When I was younger, my friends would say that I missed a great concert/movie/play, etc. Usually my response was that I couldn’t miss what I wasn’t aiming at.
Kerry lost my respect in the 70s when he testified before Congress. The SOB never got what was coming to him for his perjury. And it was disgusting anti boots on the ground perjury. He is an asshole’s asshole.
