President Trump said Tuesday that his administration isn’t bringing back the policy of family separation for migrants and blamed former President Barack Obama for putting illegal immigrant children in cages.
Asked by reporters about the policy of family separation, Mr. Trump pointed to the actions of his predecessor.
“Just so you understand, President Obama separated the children,” Mr. Trump said. “Those cages that were shown — I think they were very inappropriate — were by President Obama’s administration, not by Trump. President Obama had child separation.”
He challenged reporters in the Oval Office, “Take a look. The press knows it. You know it. We all know it. I’m the one who stopped it. President Obama had child separation.”

Any other GOP president would have said “I’m so sorry I did that. I won’t do it again. I’m such a bad person. Can you forgive me?”
Me too, I saw it live and President Trump ripped 0bama and left no doubt it was 0bama’s program.

I prefer family separation of the invaders to the current policy of massive catch and release.
And the commie media will go back to 2014 when Obama PUT kids in cages and say “Wait, when Obama did it he was justified and stuff, come on, we cant say anything negative about sweet Obama, we all voted for him”
This is stupid, the policy was one of the few effective deterrents in place. Why categorically rule it out?
I prefer they all get kicked out TOGETHER..the second they come to the border, round them up in buses, bring them back to the border and dump them back in, no need for detention centers, etc..just throw their asses back across the border and tell them “You come back and we will throw you right back”
So it was an effective tool to stop inmigration, and the President chose to end it and not restart it? Interesting
