It must be nice, having national newsrooms to run full-time damage control pro bono.
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., said a stupid thing recently during a one-on-one interview with MSNBCs Chris Hayes. That she said something ignorant is not news at all. What is newsworthy is that Newsweek felt the need to protect her where she is clearly in the wrong.
The congresswoman was asked last Friday what lessons she learned from studying former President Franklin D. Roosevelts New Deal, for which her preposterous "Green New Deal" is named.

Is it not obvious yet these MSM subversives are enemies of the people?
This admendment, repealing the electoral collage and our guns are the only thing in their way of dictatorship.
And I bet all 20 of Newsweek’s readers just ate this up.
No agency is sufficiently adroit so as to prevent or greatly mitigate self-inflicted damage that AO-C rains down upon herself on a daily basis. She is not merely a loose cannon, she is Valley Girl-dumb, and her every move and public address bears this out to an increasingly painful degree.

Didn’t a public figure once say that?
Keep in mind that the Electoral College helps define the last step in amending the Constitution. If we lose the EC to the popular vote, so too will we be at the mercy of the popular vote to rescind the 2nd Amendment.
That’s what the media does. It’s their reason for existence. They live to trash good people and promote America hating slobs.
I’m still chuckling over Time giving her the April Fools Day cover.
After all I've heard her say, I'm surprised she can breathe without help. Once someone deviates from the script the Justice Democrats had her memorize, she's a babbling idiot.
They were probably sitting in their doctor or dentist office with nothing else to read.
AOC is just a college girl party animal that lurched toward a 4 year degree (in something!). Might even had done it (as is often the case!) with decent grades. Got the degree! Didn’t get her Mrs degree, which may have been the original intent. Graduated, then wonders what to do next, perhaps boyfriend & handlers found her something - run for Congress! For me looking back, that type often ended saying then doing “I can’t think of anything I want to do, so I will go to law school”. They do and become ‘save-the-world’ non-profit lawyers. I knew & remember scores of that type!
Then they were reading it on their electronic devices - Newsweek doesn't even have a print edition anymore. That went belly up.
They don’t call it “Newsweak” for nothing.
said a stupid thing recently, try all the time. My dog has more intelligence
