FULL TITLE: Trey Gowdy: CIA May Stop Giving Adam Schiff Information Because He Leaks ‘like A Screen Door On A Submarine’
Former Republican South Carolina Rep. Trey Gowdy predicted Sunday that the U.S. intelligence community might stop providing information to House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff because he leaks “like a screen door on a submarine.”
Gowdy was asked to weigh in on Republicans’ decision Thursday to call on Schiff to step down as chairman of the House panel. (RELATED: House Intel Republicans Call On Adam Schiff To Step Down As Chairman)
“Never seen that before,” said Gowdy, who served on the intelligence panel before leaving Congress in January. “We never voted to remove or ask a chairperson to step down.”
“Adam is a deeply partisan person. He did everything he could to make sure Hillary Clinton became president. And he’s done everything he could to keep a cloud over the Trump presidency,” Gowdy said of Schiff.

HST, Shiff needs to be whittled down to size, and causing his “security clearance” (or whatever work-around the Congress has) to be revoked just might get his attention.
In any event, the Executive Branch can just refuse to provide him with any classified information.
What stuns me is that the Congress has immunity! There are some actions that people MUST be held accountable for before the next election!

I remember him. Tough talking without any follow through. He single handedly allowed Hillary to be able to say she survived a ‘grueling’ 11 hour interrogation from Congress.
He was and is a fool and an enabler of Hillary.

Their doesn’t appear to be many degrees of separation between schiff, gowdy and the CIA.
On January 31, 2018, Gowdy announced he would not seek re-election in 2018 and that he intends to pursue a legal career instead of politics. He has since joined the law firm Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough and has joined Fox News as a contributor. He served in Congress until January 3, 2019.
He's a commentator and one of the very smartest ones on the air. But, as a lawyer in a law firm, what CAN he do about it? He's no longer in Congress.
Congress is a separate coequal branch. It’s the constituents job to treat voting seriously and not elect corrupt buffoons!
Gowdy is no longer in Congress.
By law CIA has to brief Congress.
Congress’s job to be responsible. (They’re often not! What else is new?)
The public decided impeaching Trump was more important & turned over control to the Rats.
The law assumes if you are elected to congress or the white house, you are honorable trustworthy loyal uncompromised and entitled by your job to need access

I am well aware that it is up to us to keep buffoons far away FRom the levers of power & that we have not done a very good job of it!
Which leads me to my next thought: I have always believed that the USA would be far better off if EVERY candidate for federal office would have to endure the same rather detailed FBI Background Investigation I HAD to pass to be accepted for Officer Candidate School and Naval Aviation training!
Had I not passed, I would not have been allowed to become an Officer!
If prospective federal Public Servants can’t pass a BI, they should NOT be allowed to run for Congress/Senate/President!
The USA could have saved itself a lot of grief and a hellofalotof Benjamins had We the People been more alert in years past - not only on this issue, but others, too!

Somewhat Agree, but realistically no budding or professional politician would ever allow such an in-depth level of scrutiny. Republicans would claim Rats were unfair and vice versa. Also if Congressional & Senate seats who would do the investigation & deciding? The executive branch? - Separation powers issue! Legislative branch every time control would change standards could potentially change. Charges of favoritism for the controlling side would not be unjustified! It all comes down to who are the watchers & who watches them!
The CIA wants him out spreading this crap. The CIA tried to influence the election and failed. Then tried to cover it up and failed. Then tried a coup on a sitting President and failed. They want bug eyes carrying on this garbage until they get to the event horizon. That will be one of two events, Barr actually prosecuting them in court or Trump winning in 2020. Then with support from the left, the elites, globalists and NeverTrumpers they will try deal with him like JFK. I pray for the Presidents safety everyday.
