Congress is a separate coequal branch. It’s the constituents job to treat voting seriously and not elect corrupt buffoons!
I am well aware that it is up to us to keep buffoons far away FRom the levers of power & that we have not done a very good job of it!
Which leads me to my next thought: I have always believed that the USA would be far better off if EVERY candidate for federal office would have to endure the same rather detailed FBI Background Investigation I HAD to pass to be accepted for Officer Candidate School and Naval Aviation training!
Had I not passed, I would not have been allowed to become an Officer!
If prospective federal Public Servants can’t pass a BI, they should NOT be allowed to run for Congress/Senate/President!
The USA could have saved itself a lot of grief and a hellofalotof Benjamins had We the People been more alert in years past - not only on this issue, but others, too!
I just hope it is not too late to reverse the tide!
The stupidity that AOC and her Socialist/Islamic/Democrat buddies are FRanticly pushing at us may save us yet!\
