Nearly every illegal immigrant family slated for deportation over the last six months has ignored those orders, according to the chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee.
A staggering 92 percent of family members failed to appear at their deportation hearings in the months since September, said Sen. Lindsey Graham, South Carolina Republican.
He said he obtained those numbers from Ron Vitiello, acting director of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
The system is broken and overwhelmed, Mr. Graham tweeted. It is a national emergency!

Apparently we still are.
“... 92 percent of family members failed to appear at their deportation hearings...”
That’s because when they were caught they were issued disappearance tickets.

And the Judiciary should be held responsible,
All persons who fail to appear before any Court shall be the Financial Responsibility of the Judicial Officers in that State.
make the Judges and Lawyers PAY for Everything they do!!!
Well, equal treatment under the la............. Oh?!
Pinky swear you’ll show up for your deportation in a couple and we’ll let you wander the streets of America and give you government freebies.
CA is a Mexican colony.
NM is on it’s way to becoming the same.
How many states do we lose before we reverse the Bush Plan for North Mexico (aka USA)?
Flimsey Grahamnesty needs to be replaced.
Chip the bastards!
I dont trust Grahamnesty at all. Trump should be very wary of him.
But, hey, we don’t need a wall.....
A person or family that failed a deportation order could treated as missing bail, and then allow bounty hunters to go fetch them for about $10,000 per person.
Also ignoring a deportation order would be a federal crime, if the federal law was made clear that citizens arrests are allowed for federal crimes, then regular citizens could tackle in the street and drag an illegal to an ICE officer. Settling the bounty right there for $5,000 and the illegal problem goes away quick.
The problem would be that on the very first day of the law it would look like the movie the Purge. These measures could probably be rolled out in a gradual fashion.
