Appearing Wednesday on ABC’s Good Morning America, Jussie Smollett attorney Tina Glandian told anchor George Stephanopoulos that the Empire star is mulling a lawsuit against the Chicago Police Department over their handling of his alleged hate hoax case.

There was a case in PA about 15 years ago. Guy broke into a house of a family that just left on vacation.
He managed to get himself locked in the attached garage, and the garage door itself was broken shut.
He subsisted on dog food and soda for a week or two, until the family returned, and he was successfully able to sue the homeowners for $500K, iirc.
From jail, too, I think.
What evidence do you have the the Chicago police aren't entirely copacetic with the disposition of the Smollett case? Because they put on a show of publicly distancing themselves from the Democrat shenanigans?

Amazingly, you may be right. His Get Out of Jail Free card was signed at the bottom by B.Hussein Obama and has no expiration date.
One word against him and mobs of thousands will be in the streets blocking citizens' roads, pulling open family van doors,and at night setting fire to police cars and symbols of white supremacism like stores and restaurants built by business owners to serve the community.
Then the choice: give up the court case to him or lose the city to mobs.
I’m surprised that the prosecutor didn’t get an agreement from Smollett and his attorneys that no such lawsuit would be filed (or threatened) if the charges are dropped. That would seem to be SOP.
Two brothers lawyer quit because they wont come forward now. Likely paid off.
