Appearing Wednesday on ABC’s Good Morning America, Jussie Smollett attorney Tina Glandian told anchor George Stephanopoulos that the Empire star is mulling a lawsuit against the Chicago Police Department over their handling of his alleged hate hoax case.

Do it! Suing the cops for producing damning evidence that you got a DA to suppress and ignore because of politics and forcing them to disclose EVERYTHING in pubic would be a really smart move. I support it!

So Smollett wants to sue the Chicago police department. Two old sayings come to mind here. Which one applies?
“The best defense is a good offense.”
“Don’t poke the bear.”
Bring it on. Discovery would be juicy.
Smollett and his allies have exactly the same legal and moral grounds to sue the police department as a thief has to sue the man he robbed. That won’t stop him from trying, or, the way things are going, succeeding.
This police department should go on strike if this case isn’t returned to the normal venue and carry on as it should.
Smollett is going to prove he was guilty even if it kills him
Just because the government refuses to prosecute doesn’t mean that the facts of the case have changed.
Two of Jussie’s buddies were paid to commit a hate crime against whites.
One would think Jussie would happily slink back under his rock. Oh no, he doubles down, which is typical. Throw some people a life line and then they think they are entitled to the entire boat.

Thirty Chicago PD members announced they were leaving the CPD and joining the Chicago Fire Department immediately after Crook County States Attorney's office announced all charges dropped.
Follow the "Second City Cop" blog and you'll see just what's going to happen in Chicago. The CPD is at the point where they're going to just let whatever crime happens and sit on their hands after this. It's not worth it for them. The rank and file is PISSED.
