Fox News host Sean Hannity has ignored calls from network execs that he stop promoting frequent guest Sara Carter as an “investigate reporter.”
Network executives have made the request in response to her reporting not being vetted or meeting the network’s editorial guidelines, according to Mediaite.
Hannity features Carter on the show almost nightly to discuss the “deep state” and other stories on her eponymous website. She is barred from appearing on the network’s news programs. Fox News has also banned former Trump official Seb Gorka from the network’s non-opinion shows.

Carter, a Fox News contributor, was previously a national security correspondent for Circa News, and has written for the Washington Examiner.
It’s not the first time executives have asked Hannity to change his coverage. They intervened in 2017 to ask the host to stop covering conspiracies surrounding the death of Democratic National Committee staffer Seth Rich. Hannity agreed to the request.
Fox won’t exist in 5 years.

Not much of a fan of Hannity, but if Fox runs him off they are finished.
They did shut him up about Seth Rich.
He can call Sara Carter a cream-filled doughnut for all anyone cares.....she clearly knows her stuff and has the sources and it shows.
It’s obvious they’ve also instructed him to keep telling us that 98% of the invaders are lovely and gracious people and only 2% are trouble. I wonder where he gets those numbers. It’s so transparent it’s silly.
Almost amusing to watch the death of a television network, if it weren’t so sad that they have forgotten who is their viewership.
He has the number one show on cable.

Sorry for the momentary detour, but “ask” is NEVER a noun, only a verb. Pet peeve of mine when I hear the corporate “cool kids” where I work abusing it in the same manner. Actually makes them sound like foolish lemmings, which they are, but they don’t realize it.
Sara is an investigative reporter of similar caliber to Catherine Herridge, IMO.
So, no Seb Gorka, but they now have Donna Brazile on all the time - cheater, parseltonguing Leftist, former (if not current) Clintonista, although being called a “brain dead buffalo” by Hilly & treated like a janitor may have cooled off their relationship.

Oh, and Sara Carter IS an investigative reporter. She has done more in terms of investigating Hillary Clinton and the DNC than several (highly Leftward-biased) networks and the entire (highly Leftward-biased) FBI and Dept. of Justice, combined. If that isn’t an investigative reporter, then such an animal simply doesn’t exist.
