New Zealand prime minister: We’re banning all “military-style” semiautomatic weapons and assault rifles
It’s not just how comprehensive the ban is that makes it draconian, notes Philip Klein, it’s the fact that it’s coming straight from the top, by virtual decree of the prime minister and her cabinet. Supporters note that New Zealand’s parliament stands foursquare behind her, with even the major opposition party in favor of the ban, but it’s difficult politically for the opposition to get crosswise with a country’s leader after a major terror attack. 9/11 gave us the Patriot Act and the Iraq war, two initiatives that drew plenty of Democratic support if only because the minority party didn’t want to seem “soft” on malefactors. Now here’s Jacinda Ardern yanking broad classes of weapons out of the public’s hands with no constitutional provisions to stop her and little political will in the legislature, for whatever reason.

SOOO, no more M1 Garand looking guns, or M1 carbines, or M14 rifles, or 1911 .45 cal sidearms. Just about any weapon can be described as “military-style.”

This is some dumb sh*t. A non-military “style” will kill ya just as dead as a “military style” rifle will.
Please, people, ask the question: If there is no legitimate self defense reason to have ‘military style assault weapons’, why do the police have them?
Then ask why the police get to be better protected than the people, especially with weapons which are defined by the left as being ‘only useful for killing people.’
Then ask why there’s police death squads, if the leftist theory is correct.
I still want a constitutional amendment that requires all laws to be applied equally to all citizens and their government, with all conflicts solved to the benefit of personal rights.

So much for New Zealand being an escape during the coming globalist wars.
No, He didn’t give them any as you can clearly see, otherwise they would still have them.
She wasn’t elected. She was presented by the media a few months before the election as a wimmin’s leader. Got a third of the votes from those most impressed with a pretty face. The conservative party was just shy of winning the election by a few percent which triggered multi-party coalitions. Two weeks after the election she was announced as the P.M. by a coalition of losers. The king making party got just 4 percent of the vote.
Most NZrs feel totally ripped off after the most experienced and trusted party failed to win with just under 50% of the vote.
She has never held a position of responsibility in her life before this. Her only job outside of politics was as a part time assistant in a takeaway.
Since they disbanded their Military how are they going to defend themselves from any invaders. Soon enough they'll be conquered by an outside force and cease to exist as an independent country. But they can feel good about it.
