Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez likened the Felicity Huffman and Lori Loughlin college admissions scam to the US election process on Tuesday night saying it isnt that different.
The freshman congresswoman was responding to a tweet from Bitch Media co-founder Andi Zeisler when she drew the comparison.
Perhaps this is a good time to talk about all the perfectly legal ways the wealthy are both allowed and expected to manipulate college-admissions systems while teaching their children to disparage affirmative action,' Zeisler tweeted.
I guess college admissions isnt that different from elections, where lots of money can buy your spot too, replied Ocasio-Cortez. Also an enviro where those who make it despite the odds are suspected to not have earned it, not truly belong, or assumed to not be able to perform at the same level.

They threw out a ‘bimbo net’ and she won the prize. Now people are ‘represented’ by photogenic bimbos!
Sheeesh!
In order to have fraud you have to have a victim. Who was the victim of this "fraud" in these test scores? Surely not the schools themselves, since they routinely admit many minority students whose test scores are far lower than white and Asian applicants. They obviously don't take the test scores seriously enough to be defrauded.
AOC is the perfect Democrat.
No matter what the subject it can be turned to support whatever talking point is on their list.
How soon before President Trump is the reason for the scandal? Followed closely behind blaming global warming.
Somebody PLEASE ball-gag this wench!!
The problem with the twit from NY, the Somali Nazi/Muslim from Minnesota and others like them is that people vote for them. They are really more of a symptom than the disease itself. Somalis are to the USA what New Yorkers are to Florida - metastases of an aggressive and virulent political cancer that if unchecked will kill the host. Welcome to the new Venezuela (but ONLY after they’ve seized and spent all of your money.)
Like democrats buying black votes offering beer in Louisiana?
“...elections, where lots of money can buy your spot too,
And often, a good candidate EARNS their extra money.
There is really no correlation at all.
Watched it yesterday. It only confirms she’s a puppet!
That thing has gone viral. I think it’s Mr. Reagan’s best work ever.
I always wondered how these idiots would be so subserviant and submissive to the like of Obama... but after she said America is trash, it all made sense, as she is fully in that camp of hate and that makes her a fan of Obama as a hero trash talking America.
I remember discussions in Mexico city or Paris with a bunch of lefty bobos, and it was about who would talk the best trash of America
Let's see Sandy Cortez's college application and see how this female quasi-Puerto Rican's test scores compared to the scores of white and Asian men who were NOT admitted to Boston University.
“disparage affirmative action”
and why not disparage a racist program??
So she makes it in politics “despite the odds” with big money backers, denounces the system, and then laments those making it with big money being seen as such?
And I thought that Martha Raye’s nickname was “The Big Mouth”.
as well as the rest of the Soros crowd...
The difference is that college admissions purports to be objective, but is not, whereas elections make no such claim.
Yes, her election to Congress. She probably had a billionaire leftist sugar daddy paying off the party apparatchiks.
Bronxzilla strikes again.
In a sain world stupidity would not be rewarded but we conservatives are horse feed this AOC nonsense 24-7 so we get to the point that we tolerate it this is how we lose the culture war with the Dems.I don’t guess we can do nothing about it when the conservative media give he more attention than the establishment does
“So, she understands that she was elected through fraud?”
That was my first thought as well. If a real journalist were present, AOC would have been challenged immediately about her winning an election in a gerrymandered district.
