The chief executive officer of Dick’s Sporting Goods said Tuesday the retailer will stop selling firearms at 125 of its stores, The Wall Street Journal reported.
In a conference call, Dick’s CEO Ed Stack said the retailer will remove guns and some hunting gear after testing the idea in 10 stores last year, the newspaper reported.
The move continues a rollback that Dick’s began last year, when the company announced it would stop selling assault-style guns and would not sell weapons or ammunition to anyone under the age of 21. That announcement, made in the wake of a mass shooting that killed 17 people at a Parkland, Florida, high school in February 2018, resulted in a sales slump of 3.9 percent for the three-month period that ended Nov. 3, according to The Wall Street Journal.
The space the weapons occupied will be used to sell licensed sports gear and outdoor recreation equipment, Stack said during the conference call.

I take surveys for a few extra bucks and TRUST ME i have taken many from Target and Gillette asking about how their policies or commercials have affected me.
So they DO KNOW they screwed up.
I destroy them in the surveys and say I will never forget.
Got lots of surveys from Budweiser after their gay marriage commercial fiasco during football 2 years ago.
Haven’t bought a Bud since either.

And it never really took a political position through the whole movie.

Actually the movie is CONDEMNED in certain colleges becaus of that scene where Otis’ band is playing and that girl says she is studying primitive cultures.
These kids today can’t enjoy ANYTHING!
Out of business within a year.
My 20 something old kids can recite lines from that movie and converse with the 50 year olds in the family about the flick.
Same with Blazing Saddles and Airplane.

I previously bought a lot of things at Dicks while going in to look at the guns. Knowing what was coming, I haven’t been to Dicks in over 2 years. They deserve what they get.

I try not to become an oversensitive nut when it comes to a few left wing lines in a movie.
“Airplane” takes a shot at Reagan but they also take a shot at Jewish athletes, black guys and others too.
There’s such a thing as being over sensitive and i don’t want to turn into a snowflake.

We’ve been buying our guns and ammunition on-line from Sportsman Outdoor Super Store and also from Target Sports USA. I bought a brick of CCI .22lr Mini-mag for $50 delivered to the house ($10/100rds).

We have to stop forgiving and forgetting in some instances.
They single deadliest weapon among minority kids is AWFUL or unknown parents.
