They’ll probably write his character out by having him be beaten to death by white racists wearing MAGA hats shouting racist and homophobic slurs, while putting a noose on him and throwing bleach from tiny hot sauce bottles in -20°F weather wearing hoodies and ski masks while eating Subway sandwiches..................

He has NOT been charged with making a false report. He has only been charged with disorderly conduct, basically the lowest crime he could have been charged with.
Either he has already been given a cushy plea deal or his attorneys are working out the final details of it now. He pleads guilty to disorderly conduct and gets a slap on the wrist. He does not have to admit to, or be charged with, orchestrating a hoax. No team of 30 swat police making a pre dawn arrest raid on his home with CNN placed nearby to film it.

In Illinois, making a false police report is considered a form of disorderly conduct. The false police report made it felony disorderly conduct.

He has only been charged with disorderly conduct, basically the lowest crime he could have been charged with.I think this is just the starter charge. If he sent the letter to himself that will be another larger offense. They can then add filing a false report as well. Anyone other than a protected class would get jail.
