With two of the premiere college basketball teams right down the road from each other, Duke head coach Mike Krzyzewski says the rivalry has been a privilege to be a part of.
"The programs have produced championships and excellence and pros," said Krzyzewski. "So to be a part of that as a player or a coach, you should be honored."
North Carolina leads the all-time series against Duke, but the Blue Devils hold the 54-48 edge when playing at home.
And when the game's at Cameron, the stars come out. The latest rumor is that Former President Barack Obama will be in attendance.

I was going to watch it but now....not.
This is only being posted because of who will be (possibly) attending.....gag.
Yes, and Obama will receive a hero’s welcome. No one gives a damn about all the illegal stuff he did as president, and how his policies weakened America. To the vast majority of people who will be in the arena, he’s a cool guy. That’s what they heard on CNN.
I’m a die hard Carolina fan. I rarely drink. But today I will be stopping at the liquor store as I do on every UNC / dook game and pick up a small bottle of bourbon.
If you from NC or surrounding areas you know how much this game means to the teams and fans. If you are not from the area it is hard to imagine how intense this rivalry really is.
As far as Obama attending, FUBO!

Obama will b flying cross country in a private jet from California to North Carolina to see a basketball game. After the game , he will rant about green energy.

The AAU summer leagues have ruined college hoops for me. The best players are not recruited out of high school. They are recruited from the summer leagues. The problem is that the major equipment companies sponsor the teams and support the players. They have even been known to steer players to colleges that wear the same gear. The result is that you have players who are essentially already pros using college hoops as a place to improve their draft stock for a year or two before moving on to the NBA. A lot of dirty stuff happens in basketball recruiting, but the NCAA won’t lift a finger to slow it down because March Madness is a cash cow for them.
I was going to watch but I don’t want to see the Fraud on TV. But UNC and Dook are both liberal cesspools so they will gush and fawn over him.
I won’t take the fun from the game with diehard fans but I hate Obama. I have nothing but ill wishes for him. At the very least,he belongs in prison for treason but he became incredibly wealthy destroying the country and now can jet set to games as a fake fan. It must be nice.
Every Duke game this year is getting a lot of celebrity attendance because of Zion Williamson. The fact that he’s surrounded by a couple of other players projected to be drafted high in the first round by NBA teams doesn’t hurt, but Williamson is considered to be the hottest NBA prospect since Anthony Davis.
I’m wondering how ESPN will cover this? Will the game or Obama get the most coverage? How many President Trump slurs will viewers have to endure? Is Obama going out at halftime and throw up a few bricks? Can he beat his White House record?
