Total BS. I know crime & I know insane and after watching Bundy on Netflix I'd say he was well above the average IQ while at the same time being totally evil. I've never seen someone as good at killing as Bundy was.

Almost every serial killer is a sexual deviant of average to below average intelligence. They do tend to be extremely dedicated to their perversion, persistent, and with a tremendous desire to remain free so they can continue their killing, all of which gives the illusion of intelligence.

Bundy’s had multiple MOs, but one of his greatest assets was the ability to charm women with his appearance and air of sophistication. He was intelligent enough for law school, and might have been very successful if he hadn’t wasted all his time obsessing over murder and ways to commit it.
