Lifesite News reports that Dr. William Lile, a board certified obstetrician-gynecologist, has issued a blistering condemnation of New York state's recently passed state law which allows abortion up until birth.
As noted by Lifesite's Calvin Freiburger, Dr. Wile says that "modern medical technology is already giving preborn babies blood transfusions, heart surgery, and more." Many of these surgeries can occur at 22 weeks in the womb, the Alabama and Florida licensed practitioner said. Thus, If they're a patient they're a person, and if they are a person they deserve our protection."
But, New York's bill states that Every individual who becomes pregnant has the fundamental right to choose to carry the pregnancy to term, to give birth to a child, or to have an abortion. The new law also "erases the states recognition of preborn babies older than 24 weeks as potential homicide victims, removes abortion from the penal code entirely, and allows licensed health practitioners other than full doctors to commit abortions."
None of that seems to matter New York Democrats who celebrated the passage of the bill by clapping and smiling in the state house upon its passage. Dr. Wile responded to these cheers by saying, Celebrating what? The governor just signed a law saying that we can take the lives of the babies in the womb up until their due date. That's nothing to celebrate...To take the lives of these babies in the womb breaks my heart. It is not good for us and is not good for America."
Dr. Wile has delivered nearly 4,000 babies in his private practice and his full statement regarding the New York Bill can be seen here:
Good catch.
That's very subtle, but I do believe you are quite correct.
Kermit Gosnell is not a woman. (Irrelevant if he suddenly decides to identify as one, of course.)
For a minute a thought this was about Dr. Who
Now mislabeled?
“Progressive” did not mean anything different a century ago when politicians were using it. Woodrow Wilson, who said “socialism and democracy are one and the same”, was the main “Progressive era” leader.
No, Gosnell is not a woman but the woman who went to him are the true murderers of their children. In the same vein, if one pays someone to murder another person, the person who made the payment is guilty of murder as much as the person who performed the act.
That is why these women are the biggest baby killers.
JoMa
and permits infanticide.
They left that part out.
Do people get extra-special training for Headline Writing?
“What exactly do we stand for as a nation anymore?”
Don’t confuse a small group of New York democrats with the whole nation.
This New York State law specifically denies personhood to any baby until he or she is actually born.
Yup. And John Dewey was the progressive leader for public education.
There should be. It contradicts federal law. Is that enough?
Any man who performed the act of abortion is just as much of a “true murderer” as women knowingly sought those abortions. Same with men who consent to the very notion of “legal” abortion.
By having sex when they don’t intend to care for any baby that results, they are certainly part of the whole thing.
Isn't that what judges are supposed to do?
Or only to Republican or conservative laws and initiatives?
Thanks for your response. My remark should have included reference to the previous label of “Liberal” used to identify the deplorable ideology that, from its start in the late 1800’s, sought to overturn the ideas of liberty enshrined by the Founders and Framers of the United States Constitution.
Free education for all children in public schools. Abolition of childrens factory labor in its present form. Combination of education with industrial production, etc. etc.The tenth plank of communism. Big influence on Dewey, possibly?
It seems ironic that pro-abortion liberals who fear the reversal of Row v Wade more than nuclear war have just authored the bill that will take the issue to a newly constituted Supreme Court. It is likes moths flying to the flames. By the time the case makes it to the SC, Ginsburg will likely be 6 feet under and the law will get the thumbs down, taking Row v Wade down with it.
The abortion providers are worse because they actually profit from the killing
