According to senate sources, Schumer is counseling (begging) Pelosi not to “f_ck this up” by demanding more than the a three-week spending agreement.

Senator McConnell has told President Trump that this move will put it back on Pelosi and still leave him “close enough to see Christmas” - whatever that means.

Why can’t Trump just agree to open the Government (meaning Nancy would no longer be able to justify not allowing him to give the State of the Union), then order the borders closed until the wall is built?
