No such thing as an accidental discharge. Especially one that kills a cop at the home of a fellow LEO at 2 am.
Mechanical malfunction? Negligent discharge resulting in death? Did she stumble into a compromising situation between 2 male LEOs? Just a friendly midnight game of Russian roulette?
Probably nothing to see here.
Chief John Hayden said two on-duty male police officers showed up at one of their homes during their shift. Alix also stopped by the home Wednesday night. Police said that one of the on-duty officers was sitting in the living room of the apartment, mishandled a gun, and shot Alix in the chest.
That sucks.
Yeah. Right.
Two off duty officers at home. She stopped by for a visit. Claimed so far as accidental.
Weren’t there any dogs around?
Forgot to knock?
This story reeks.
Not according to the article which said it was two male ON DUTY officers at one of their homes.
Bull effing sheet. Dollars to donuts it was a love triangle.
re: “Bull effing sheet. Dollars to donuts it was a love triangle.”
Gun-play and love; what could go wrong?
Good catch... My mistake.
It is pretty common for cops to go by their house while on duty to drop off the siezed contraband they collected(stole), drugs, money, guns,... But the article doesn’t say anything about the 10 yr old that might have been with the 2 cops when she walked in on them.??
Really? A 10 year old? New update is that there was a Police car with busted out windows at the hospital. Suspected to be the one they took her to the hospital in.
oops, I meant to say 10 yr old boy!
I know too many cops and known a lot throughout the years, I would never take anything they say at face value and ALL of them would put their own Mother in Prison for Life to protect their buddies.
“ALL of them would put their own Mother in Prison for Life to protect their buddies.”
As the mother of a cop,I disagree.
.
Me too. Theyd be willing to put someone elses mother in prison to protect on of their own.

If they are union, it doesnt take too muxmch digging to find they would do it for their union benefit. Union history is replete with greed and wrongful prosecution from false witnesses.
