At what point does Trump Derangement Syndrome stop being handy shorthand for the liberal media's hatred of the President, and start being taken seriously as an actual mental disorder?
The question arises after Joe Scarborough on today's Morning Joe raised the possibility that Donald Trump "doesn't know how to read."

Scarborough realizes that he’s that strange mix of famous and completely irrelevant, so he’s grasping desperately for some kind of acknowledgment that he’s still some kind of “somebody” to a segment of the public. Any segment, no matter how small, no matter how clueless or crazy.
His public life can be boiled down to “Notice me, dammit!” And that desperation has resulted in his repeated beclowning of himself. It would be sad if it wasn’t so pathetic.
When did Scarborough get his crainial contents vacuumed out?

He graduated from the University of Alabama for undergrad and is allegedly a Univ of Florida law grad.
Donald Trump not only knows how to read, he knows how to write, too.
In fact, his book, “The Art of the Deal,” has been a perennial bestseller since 1987 — in contrast to Joe Scarborough’s output of books which have wallowed in bombsville, even though he’s a media personality.
As for his wife Mika, her latest book came out only a few months ago yet is only 32,000th on the Amazon list of bestsellers, and it’s only gotten 28 customer reviews. She must have a very small family, and some of them must be as mean-spirited as she and Joe since a quarter of the reviewers gave the book less than a 5-star rating.
Yeah, sure Joe. Illiterates become billionaire real estate moguls all the time.
Only in journalism would anyone be able to think that you can be ignorant and illiterate and still become rich. After all, they have their own example to go by.
