18 month old Richie needs your prayers

Prayer Warriors have seen this but we need everyone to offer prayers for Richie.

Picture a few months old but the only one I have available.

First a little history .... The last week of November, Richie received several vaccines which included the flu vaccine.

On December 2nd, he was hospitalized with paralysis of his arms and legs. He was put on a respirator and the outlook was bleak. I posted a note on FB asking for prayers from family and friends.

Richie is the grandson of a cousin who is more like a little brother than a cousin.

I think the pacemaker was a good thing.

Amy, I will keep praying. Where there is life there is hope. Prayers for the medical staff too. And especially the family.

Prayers for Richie continue. God’s desire for him to be well has not changed. We know He wants Richie to be strong and healthy-—fully healed. Therefore, we know we are praying in His will. Never give up! Never!

I'm asking your intercession for this dear little cousin of freeper JustAmy, his father, mother, and grandparents, and of course, JustAmy. Richie developed paralysis of his arms and legs and was hospitalized December 2nd. So he is approaching his 2nd birthday by now.

Richie has had episodes of shallow breathing and has come close to death. But through it all, he keeps up his beautiful smiling, a blessing to everyone who sees him. He is thought to have Acute Flaccid Myelitis—but we claim the Name Above all names, including myelitis.

This past week, Richie had a pacemaker surgically installed. His family members are distraught at the suffering of this innocent child. They are Christians and are grateful for your prayers.
