Organizers planning a local California Women's March for January have pulled the plug on the event because attendees would have been "overwhelmingly white."
Humboldt County organizers were considering hosting a rally in Eureka, Calif., on Jan. 19 to commemorate the third anniversary of the original Women's March in Washington, D.C., held the day after President Trump's inauguration in 2017. But they decided to can the event because of fears it would be perceived as being noninclusive.
"The local organizers are continuing to meet and discuss how to broaden representation in the organizing committee to create an event that represents and supports peoples who live here in Humboldt. Up to this point, the participants have been overwhelmingly white, lacking representation from several perspectives in our community," the group said Friday in a statement. "Instead of pushing forward with crucial voices absent, the organizing team will take time for more outreach. Our goal is that planning will continue and we will be successful in creating an event that will build power and community engagement through connection between women that seek to improve the lives of all in our community."
The group said Friday it was now "exploring holding an event in March to celebrate International Womens Day."
More than 80 percent of Humboldt County is white, according to 2018 data posted on U.S. Census Bureau's website.
The January demonstration's nixing comes on the heels of other disappointments for the broader Women's March movement. Womens March Washington state disbanded this month following tensions with Women's March Inc., the national body, regarding ties to Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan and his anti-Semitic comments. The Rhode Island chapter officially split from its parent organization in May for the same reason.
Womens March Chicago organizers similarly confirmed in November it would not be putting together an anniversary rally in January, but its decision was based on a lack of money and volunteers giving it led a "March to the Polls" ahead of the 2018 midterm elections.
Who else has time for this carp?
Theyre turning on themselves... I love it!
One suspects that it is not sufficiently trans-whatever.
.
Humboldt County will have to import black women. Check the population stats.

“Silly Women,
Marching down the street
Silly Women,
That you don’t want to meet
Silly Women...”
Well this comes after the controversy that the “pink pussy hats” were not representative of ..... other races.....
[Who else has time for this carp?]
Don’t you mean “whitefish”?
;)
Oh women wanting sympathy
Women feeling ecstasy
Women who live in fantasies
Bringing man to his knees
Women who fall in love
Women who need a shove
Women who can’t be beat
Get that woman in the back seat, yeah, yeah
Women in the U.S.A.
Those women steal your heart away
Women into rock ‘n’ roll
Women who steal the show, go, go, go
Women that you write songs about
Women that turn around and kick you out
Women you dream about all your life
Women that stab you in the back with a switchblade knife

Feminism at its core is an anti-fertility cult. Planned Parenthood is to Feminism what the SS was to the Nazis. Feminism attracts lesbians, barren white women and the mentally ill.
have they ever been to Eureka? ROTFLMAO
This level of peak "wokeness" can't sustain itself. It's imploding.
Terrible thing to live in fear!
The only blacks in Humboldt county play basketball for Cal Sate Humboldt, are driving through to visit Pelican Bay Super-Max Prison inmates, or are on the inmate bus coming up from SQ to transfer them to Pelican Bay.
Most Humboldt County women are chronically stoned and could not organize a one car funeral much less a demonstration. Those that manage to spawn usually have diseased offspring.
It’s OK to be white.
There are virtual ‘tons’ of popular music songs that have ‘Woman’ in the title. “Woman” by John Lennon, Witchy Woman by The Eagles, Clean Up Woman, by Betty Wright are but three of them of the top of my head.
“American Woman”
