On Tuesday, we surmised that Joe Scarborough had gone "all in" with the Democrats. Scratch that. Scarborough has now placed himself even to the left of many lefties.
On today's Morning Joe, Scarborough defended Judge Emmet Sullivan's outburst yesterday at Michael Flynn's sentencing hearing. This, while many liberals, like Dan Abrams, and even the young lefties over at Vox, have criticized the judge.

Scarborough then proceeded to claim that Sullivan's mistake on the timing of Flynn's work as a foreign agent was "a distinction without a difference." This despite the fact that Sullivan himself later said that he "felt terrible" about having said it!
Dismissing Sullivan's intemperate accusation of treason, Scarborough said:
"Federal judges--I'm sorry . . . that's just what federal judges do. If they're angry, they come in and they shake people up [giving examples]: 'hey why didn't you guys figure out?' -- uh, treason!'

However that said, lets not jump to conclusions on the judge until we see what he does.
I am reminded of a lawyer I hired many years ago, now dead, who had the reputation of being the best in his specialty.
Early on in the courtroom, I was totally embarrassed that this guy represented me. He kept asking the person with whom I had the disagreement one dumb question after the other.
Then came the truth.
The person being questioned was even more exasperated than I and in anger blurted out the truth.
The dumb questions would probably be described today as “trolling”.
Perhaps the judge was using the same cross examination technique...that is he got the prosecution to admit that Flynn had not committed a treasonous act by law.
There were several other admissions made by the prosecution.
So let’s wait to see what the judge does.
If the judge blows it, there is always the possibility Flynn will get a pardon from the President.
“But the sound bites are still out there.”
Heard a top-of-the-hour news broadcast on the radio this morning that mentioned it. Very softly and very quickly, with voice trailing off, mention the Judge’s withdrawal.

Judge Sullivan needs to reprimand or fire his clerks.
Judge Sullivan, while ranting about how he could sentence Flynn to major jail time, had it in his power to sentence Flynn that very minute. Like a Rosanne Rosannadana routine, the judge had the key facts he was exercised about wrong.
What if Flynn had been thrown in jail for years due to the judge’s ignorance? Would Sullivan have said, “Nevermind” or let his error stand out of embarrassment? Would Scarborough think that was “a distinction without a difference” if it happened to him?
Trump haters are jealous because they can never be Trump and they are having trouble beating down Trump to build themselves up, as well as enrich themselves at our expense.
Trump supporter love him, because Trump patriotically loves and defends the USA and the American people. Trump is our defender against the likes of arrogant elitists who want to dictate to us exactly how we should do everything in our lives.
The judge was supposed to think that way. That is why the announcement concerning Turkish lobbying crimes was made public the day before the sentencing. Poor judge is trying to figure out what the Deep State wants exactly. Good luck there. Confessions for non crimes to prevent charges on non related ‘discovered’ crimes is my guess. With the usual gratuitous threats thrown about by the DS.
Scarborough proves once again just how much of a brainless idiot he really is.
