I saw that article and found it to be dubious at best. We see lots of things attributed to people saying things that are not true.
Few last that long in that position with ANY president. The job is beyond grueling. Generally after 2 years, there’s a massive turnover at the White House. This is nothing new.
I would think that any advisor to any President works 7 days a week, far into the night.

The candidate of those mentioned that jumps out at me is Mick Mulvaney. He’s one seriously sharp dude and handles the press masterfully.
