Rep.-elect Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez got into a Twitter spat with former Gov. Mike Huckabee and then went after his daughter.
The former Arkansas governor was mocking the 28-year-old democratic socialist for comparing her election this November to the 1969 Moon landing.
Big difference. Moon landing was LUNAR, not LOONEY; Moon landing done by ppl who knew what they were doing those who elected someone who thought there were 3 branches of Congress did NOT, he wrote, alluding to one of many miscues on basic civics that the rising Democratic star has made in recent months.
Both barrels came firing back.
Ms. Ocasio-Cortez started by saying that her platform would require a level of ambition + innovation on the scale of the moon landing. Weve been done it before, and can do it again.
Then she got personal.

I'm adding the coiner of the phrase Cheese In the Maze which is the diversionary Tweet strategy that Trump used so effectively in 2017 (less so in 2018). I don't believe Cortez the Killer is as sharp as Trump, but I do believe some Dem operative read LS' article and may be using the freshman congresswoman from Queens to try out that strategy on Deplorables.
I'll say it again: I would caution against taking Ms Ocasio-Cortez too lightly. Back in 2004 some lightweight former community organizer spoke at the DNC convention. Many scoffed at the though of this loser becoming anything more than a state senator. In mid-2015, many people thought Trump's candidacy was a joke...Jeb! was a shoe-in.
Now, I'm not arguing that she's a powerhouse orator or that she will easily topple the Dem Establishment.
But remember that Trump won by about 78k votes, i.e. the margin of victory collectively in MI, WI, and PA. And many Dems won by questionably small margins in 2018. Finally, the DNC has the media and Antifa working for them. It may not require a tsunami of public support for this freshman to become a horror for Normal People, and to be juuuuuust enough to tip the scales toward a Kamala Harris/Spartacus ticket.
Red-pill centrist friends, and build a WALL of MAGA-loving voters that overwhelms Dem fraud. And let Ocasio-Cortez tweet and do not give her air time.
That could splain it. :^)
Econ!
She desperately needs to read up on Dunning-Kruger Effect.
Wilburrrrrr!
I think you are right that all whackadoodles must be taken seriously from here on out. Look at Betamale.
That doesn’t mean we shouldn’t ridicule her mercilessly.
I wish Sarah Sanders would ask O-C to prove in court where she, Sarah, had lied. I do believe Sanders has grounds for libel.
Star? Really? She barely has enough brain power to breathe.
The funny thing is.....this pour girl hasnt even done anything to create the swamp.
Shes just coming along when it is getting drained.
Amen...I seriously doubt Sarah Sanders is a liar.
She doesn’t have to lie to do her job, she’s always two or three steps ahead of the “journalists.”
Right on!
Id say she boinged the dean..but I think even HE had his standards
Dumb question: at the time of the lunar landing, did our existential enemy the Soviet Union declare that it was a hoax?
No, because one, they were tracking Apollo 11 & knew that the descent of the lunar module was a happening fact, and two, the Russkies knew they’d look like real idiots trying to claim it didn’t really take place.
And heck, the map of the far side of the moon was already covered with Soviet nomenclature after they sent Lunik III to photograph it ten years earlier.
Mmmm...fruitcake soaked in brandy...yum!
No, A O-C is a nutcake. A leftwing nutcake.
The braying donkey, a fine symbol of her party, will provide us with a lot of entetainment!
Driving down to DC, she probably saw a Truck Stop sign that said...CLEAN RESTROOMS AHEAD.
So she stopped and cleaned them, all the way to DC.
