New website allows you to check your ‘intersectionality’ score

Even a casual follower of campus happenings has probably heard of the term “intersectionality” by now.

Coined by critical race theorist Kimberlé Crenshaw of UCLA and Columbia Law Schools, intersectionality originally was “a way to help explain the oppression of African-American women.” In Crenshaw’s own words, intersectionality is

I decided to have some fun with this. I managed to score 100 by sliding everything to the right except "devout Christian". Being both a "devout Muslim" and a "devout Jew" seemed to be the key, in addition to all of the other nonsensical combinations.

Do all this but say you're male rather than female and the 100 drops to 85. So a "transgender male = bad" but "transgender female = good". If that same transgender female identifies a straight rather than gay, however, then the score again drops from 100 to 90. And if you're born in the USA rather than elsewhere then 100 drops to 93.

Worst score I could generate was 1 for being an educated, rich, middle-age, straight, cisgender, devout Christian white Male, born in the USA, speaking English as my first language, with no disabilities.

Scored 1. ‘Course I know I don’t intersect with any damned sicko, commie fag creepazoid and had to adjust the sliders accordingly. I may have scored 1, but my intersection with the above is absolute zero. So there is a serious flaw in the test, right there.
