Border officers seize more than $2.7 million in drugs [Build the Wall-stop killing Americans]

Federal officers seized more than $2.7 million worth of drugs and arrested nearly 40 people over the last five days at border crossings in San Diego County and Calexico, officials said.

The incidents happened between midnight Friday and midnight Tuesday at six ports of entry in the region.

Customs and Border Protection officers “thwarted numerous smuggling attempts” involving a variety of drugs including heroin, cocaine, fentanyl and methamphetamine. In some cases, the drugs were strapped to people’s bodies. In other attempts, they were hidden in various parts of vehicles like the gas tank, trunk or seats.

All told, authorities seized nearly 580 pounds of methamphetamine, five pounds of cocaine, about 26 pounds of heroin and 17 pounds of fentanyl. Federal officers arrested 10 people in connection with the smuggling attempts.

One of the most recent seizures happened at the San Ysidro Port of Entry early Tuesday when authorities found about 170 pounds of methamphetamine hidden in the vehicle of a man who was trying to enter the United States.

The man — a Mexican citizen and permanent U.S. resident — was later arrested.

Border officers also arrested 14 people wanted on a variety of warrants for crimes that included auto theft and drug and parole violations.

An additional 15 people were arrested on suspicion of human smuggling and immigration violations like presenting fraudulent documents.

I firmly believe that most of the politicians that are against building the wall are being bribed by the drug cartels.

We don’t have enough prison space in this country. Between the smugglers, alien criminals, domestic criminals, and Democrats (though I repeat) we can’t possibly house them all. This is what happens when you allow progressives to erode the rule of law in your country.

“There are multiple different things going on and the immigration problem is not the same as drug smuggling. If you plug one hole, it doesn't have anything to do ...

That quote is unattributed, but whoever said that is profoundly stupid. Allowing unchecked illegal entry into the country both facilitates the drug trade and enables human trafficking. Get control of illegal entry and the other problems will shrink significantly.

That comment was made by the San Diego channel 10 News reporterette. The arlicle is gone, but here’s another tunnel discovered the same day! From KFC in USA to a bedroom in Mexico. LOL

Border patrol agents have uncovered a tunnel leading from the kitchen of an old KFC restaurant to a trap door in a bedroom in Mexico. Officials believe the tunnel between San Luis, in Arizona, and San Luis Río Colorado, in Sonora, was used for smuggling drugs.

Police say they were tipped off in April about the existence of a tunnel leading to the abandoned restaurant. They began monitoring its owner, Ivan López, and stopped him in his vehicle earlier this month. Officers found 160kg of hard drugs worth more than $1m

The list on Post 1 will never end. Building the wall will probably help slow down the drug runners but will not stop the flow of drugs. Personally, I would rather see the entire border closed permanently, the drugs would still get across.

If there is a market, there will be suppliers, you can take that to the bank!

Open borders allows this constant flow of illegal drugs that is sabotaging us, ruining our children, devastating the lives of parents of young children, causing me to see grandparents unfit for placement because of drug distribution convictions. We need strict new immigration laws. It will cause crime to decrease.

The Sedition party I think is utterly owned by the mega rich who see stuff like this as mere collateral damage. All they care about is making more money for themselves, cheap labor and putting the Sedition party more in power. Basically the Seditionists are selling the country out for the benefit of a few and they don’t give a F either. When’s the last time you ever heard Pelosi, Maxine, Schumer Adam Schitt talk about what good things they want to do for the average US citizen? All they care about is toppling this administration through sedition, bringing in as much cheap labor as possible and stealing elections

Collateral damage is how the Open-Border American elites view:

1. Drug overdose deaths 72,000 2017.

2. Americans killed by Illegal aliens post 9/11- 63,000

3. Violent Crimes against Americans by illegals- Hundreds of thousands (Texas crimes for 6 months =270,000+)

4. Cost of incarceration for illegals-Hundreds of millions (Florida spent $97 million last year)

5. Cost for American taxpayers- Astronomical. Enough to build a fancy huge wall and send Congress on a cruise to nowhere, permanently.

Plus we have social and medical needs ignored for our very own citizens and especially veterans.

I watched a few episodes of “Border Law” a day or so ago. One episode focused on how the K9s help.

They made busts with street values of about $14 million and $7 million. One bust involved over 1400# of pot, found in the hidden basement of a stash house.

I’m sure the “Rehab Industry” can tell you exactly how much strict interdiction “costs them” ...and has explained it precisely to their DemRat congresscritters...in the form of lining their re-election coffers.

Individual citizens haven’t access to the K St lobby -
