President Donald Trump threatened to declassify “devastating” documents next year if House Democrats launch probes into his administration.
“If they want to play tough, I will do it,” he said during an Oval Office interview Wednesday with the New York Post.
"They will see how devastating those pages are."
Trump told the paper he would declassify FISA warrant applications and other confidential documents from Robert Mueller’s investigation, which he said would expose efforts by the FBI, the Justice Department and the Clinton campaign to set him up.
“If they go down the presidential harassment track, if they want to go and harass the president and the administration, I think that would be the best thing that would happen to me,” he said.
“I’m a counter-puncher and I will hit them so hard they’d never been hit like that.” Trump also told the tabloid he would wait to reveal such documents until they are absolutely needed, saying, “It’s much more powerful if I do it then.”
He should do it regardless...

What’s he got to lose by declassifying them anyway?
I’ve always wondered why Trump hasn’t done released more on DOJ and CIA crimes during 2016. We can’t know whats in his head.
I personally believe the population needs to know to help the Republic survive.
Perhaps Trump feels he is achieving his political agenda regardless, and is holding this in reserve. My best guess is Trump is letting everyone know, he has a doomsday device - try to take him down, and everyone goes down together.
I am waiting for the day when he says, “I have released the devastating documents and the DOJ has issued warrants for arrests.”
I will likely never hear that.
Dems always play for blood, and all Republicans do is threat. C’mon Trump. You’ve been a fighter so far so keep fighting. Take it to the max and release the docs. You know the Dems would.
So, he will hide the truth from the American people, and actively cover up dem corruption, and treason, and an attempted coup of a legitimately elected president, if they are nice to him?

Declassify EVERYTHING, and then hire a few attack dogs who do nothing but eviscerate Democrats for the next 2 years on TV and radio. But then, I am not an “expert”.

I am very bewildered as to what the HELL is stopping him from releasing them NOW, I mean these BASTARDS are going after everyone that has surrounded him including his family members, YET not a peep on HELLARY!!! I am EXTREMELY surprised Trump refuses to drop the bomb on the Dems WHY!!!!
