Fox News host Mark Levin defended President Trump on Wednesday after Chief Justice John Roberts rebuked the president's criticism of a federal judge.
The conservative host argued in a Facebook post defending Trump that "there are ... too many progressive judges and justices who legislate from the bench."
"Indeed, when it came to Obamacare, Roberts himself led the courts leftists in rewriting the Constitution and imposing that damnable law on all of us," he wrote.
"It appears John Roberts doesnt live in the real world."
Levin weighed in after Roberts offered a rare statement rebuking Trump's criticism of a federal judge who ruled against the administration's asylum policy this week.
Trump on Tuesday called the U.S. District Court Judge Jon Tigar "an Obama judge" while defending his administration's policy and ripping the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, which hears cases appealed by the district court.
Tigar was appointed to the federal bench by the former president in 2012.
"We do not have Obama judges or Trump judges, Bush judges or Clinton judges," Roberts responded to Trump in his statement Wednesday.
"What we have is an extraordinary group of dedicated judges doing their level best to do equal right to those appearing before them."
Roberts caught flak from many conservatives following his surprising swing vote in favor of the Affordable Care Act, or Obamacare, in 2012.
Levin, who currently hosts a nationally-syndicated radio program and a weekly one-hour program on Fox News, noted the ObamaCare vote on Wednesday.
"We dont need any lectures from him. Indeed, he should be admonishing his own branch of government for its outrageous activism rather than playing to the media by attacking the president. Classless," Levin wrote.
California found half a million returned jury duty solicitations (based on voting records.) The potential jurors said they weren’t American citizens, so they couldn't do jury duty...
What you said is true. And most everything POTUS says turns out to be completely factual, as time passes and things play out.
You may well be right about that, it seems we’re on the same wavelength. :^)
21 Nov: SBS Australia: AAP: (Australian Prime Minister Scott) Morrison follows Trump rejecting UN migration deal
Australia won’t be signing a UN-sponsored document on safe and orderly migration because Scott Morrison says it would compromise the country’s borders...
Scott Morrison will follow in Donald Trump’s footsteps by refusing to sign a global covenant on migration...
“It doesn’t distinguish between those who illegally enter Australia and those who come the right way,” he told 2GB radio on Wednesday.
“I would never allow something to compromise our borders, I worked too hard to ensure that we weren’t in that position.”...
But Mr Morrison said a key sticking point was the failure of the document to differentiate between illegal and “proper” migration when it comes to providing welfare benefits.
The US, Israel, Austria, the Czech Republic, Poland, Croatia, Hungary and Bulgaria have refused to sign the agreement...

John Roberts doesnt live in the real world
BUMP!
HOORAY Mark1
Roberts appears to be another GWB mistake.
“he should be admonishing his own branch of government for its outrageous activism “
Indeed!
I don't doubt the Chief Justice really believes this but I would argue that the job of a Judge is not to do equal right to those appearing before them. There job is to apply the law or the constitution as it is written, not as the Judge thinks it should have been written. When a Judge substitutes his concept of what is right for what is prescribed by law, he forfeits his legitimacy. I agree with the President that far too many courts are presided over by advocates rather than Judges.
The Supreme Court reviews only an extremely small number of cases decided in that Circuit and while 75 percent overturn rate of those is troubling, think about the hundreds or thousands of cases that are not reviewed. Does that same error ratio carry over to cases not reviewed?
OK, are you now glad you voted MAGA? I mean, you said it wasn’t a choice for you, but knowing what you know now, would it have been a choice?
I’m glad Levin was wrong about Trump, and all the others who raged on Trump during the campaign. But once it was over, anything was better than Hillary Clinton.
No one then knew how a Trump presidency would go, but now that we do, it’s great Trump won.
I couldn’t bring myself to vote for Cruz in the Ohio primary after what he did to Dr. Carson in Iowa. I was Trump in the primary a nd Trump in the general.
Show me a photo of Robert’s teeth. Impossible...he doesn’t have any, apparently. Never a toothy smile. Never. Weird.
There’s the ticket. Every registered voter should receive a jury summons during the two year period between elections. If they reply they can’t perform the duty because they are not a US citizen, they get purged from the voter rolls and flagged for deportation because they registered to vote. Then when the rest (legal citizens) call the number, the announcement says they are not needed.
They like to attack the President for some of his remarks, however a Supreme Court Justice criticizing the President is way out of line and certainly not objective or judicial.
If Roberts thinks we have a dedicated doing their best, he doesn’t live in this world. If what we have is “doing their best”, well, it isn’t good enough. In fact, many are doing a piss poor job and should be fired.
Is he still being controlled by that adoption thing? It’s not exactly in the closet anymore and nobody cares anyway.
Talk about “classless”. Roberts sold out the American people with his defense of the Kenyan’s Obamacare bullsh*t. “F” him.
Roberts never felt a need to rebuke Obozo, not even for many unconstitutional maneuvers or for the grotesque attack on the entire SCOTUS in front of Congress and the nation at a State of the Union address.
Roberts was trying to justify his ObamaCare debacle with his comment...
Your assessment is correct.
