Abrams Continues Media Tour, Unloads on ‘Insidious’ Kemp After Georgia Election Loss

While Georgia Democratic gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams is continuing to unload on Republican Governor-elect Brian Kemp since losing the election last week, he's not firing back, saying what she does with her time is her own business.

Abrams acknowledged defeat 10 days after the election on Friday, trailing by nearly 55,000 votes and more than 17,000 votes short of forcing a runoff. However, she did not give a normal concession speech, blasting her opponent as an architect of voter suppression and saying the "state failed its voters."

Since announcing the formation of a new group called "Fair Fight Georgia" and stating "major" litigation will be filed against Georgia over the election, Abrams has embarked on a national media tour and ripped Kemp every step of the way.

Asked to respond to her rhetoric, Kemp told the Washington Free Beacon in a statement that it was time to move on and Abrams could say what she pleased.

Abrams also appeared to reject a professor's argument in Slate that Democrats should not call the election "stolen." Richard L. Hasen, professor of law and political science at the University of California–Irvine School of Law, argued such rhetoric further eroded American faith in the electoral process.

Near as I can tell, since she lost her Governor scam and subsequent payoff of all her debts and taxes, she found a new payday.

Go all over and claim fraud (when it was her who did it) and become the chair of an activist group.

Democratic Elections means you accept the results when the other party wins. Modify your goals and/or message for next time and move on.
Democratic Party only accepts the voters' wishes when they win. They need to change their name.

Our biggest problem is that we no longer agree on common principles. The preamble to the Declaration of Independence stated the principle of "consent of the governed." Both parties and most bureaucrats have given up on that principle. The Democratic party is trying to make their supporters give up that principle from the citizens' side. No consent to be governed unless Dems can force their non-consensual objectives on the majority. "Elections have consequences" when they win but are illegitimate if they lose - that is not democracy.

This is the new normal, when democrats lose, they automatically accuse their opponent of stealing the election, they will never concede, and they will actively undermine faith in the election process. They will use this to steal every single election that they can. Any republican now must win convincingly, if it is close at all, the dems will recount and recount until they get the results they want. That’s how Franken got his seat, and that is how about 10 or more dems won their house races this time.
