No it won’t. In fact it will grow. Americans are leaving for other states, but 3rd world immigrants and illegal aliens are pouring into California.
The answer is obvious: Republicans should declare themselves to be Democrats and run in THEIR elections!

I think this tells you all you need to know about how much of this spate of losses and failure is the party trying everything it can to win elections and how much of it is the party leadership deliberately sitting on their hands because the lout Trump went and ruined everything?
I don't care if they do want to sit on their hands, but if they don't want to do what is necessary to win (find new voters, build up resources and candidates to win races, and follow through) they shouldn't stay in leadership positions in the party. Retire, resign, form a new party, whatever. Just don't pretend it's only the influx of immigrants that explains the losses.
Sadly, you have painted an all-too-keen picture of what lies ahead for America. California is prelude for the rest of the states. Time is not our friend.

Laz, I have no doubt whatsoever that these evil goals are what today’s progressives really want.
But...who’s going to do the banning, forbidding, and destroying? Flesh & blood human beings, not sci-fi supermen, who think they can so do but cannot rule themselves either immortal, invulnerable, nor omnipotent.
This isn’t the age of Hitler, Stalin, nor Mao, nor Ho Chi Minh, nor Castro. Americans are well armed, to the gut wrenching chagrin of our European critics and our would-be rulers. Whoever thinks they have seized the means of total state power to impose a despotic regime over those who disagree with them are a deluded bunch in for a very unpleasant surprise delivered from the muzzle of a gun.
Registration means confiscation. Simple & easy to understand by both sides in the gun debate; doxxing is also a very personal form of registration if you get my drift. Hey, shut down Google if you don’t like it.
But there is no registration even in nonfree states where truculent demands to comply are ignored by 90 percent or more of owners of `scary black rifles’; cops have to go home at night like the rest of us peons.
State police chiefs with their four stars & Smoky the Bear hats wag scolding fingers before the cameras and ominously declare “WE are your masters now!!” OK, then make it happen.
As noted doxxing can become a two-way firing range; do the police really want to be perceived as the jackbooted enemy of ordinary people?
The Republican in my district seemed so sure she’d win that she barely campaigned. She didn’t even register to vote in this district until 2017. Her opponent was everywhere, and she’s very annoying, but except for her mentions of Mimi Walters it was hard to even know Walters was running.
The fall of the Republican party co-insides with the takeover of the party by “moderate east coast emigrants” after the party schism in the late 1980s till the early 1990s. The once conservative state now resembles New York/Pennsylvania/New Jersey politically.
The Dems register Illegal aliens to vote and their fraudulent votes, up to~ 5 million votes now control the result of both state and federal elections.
Save California deport ALL illegal aliens. Additionally wrest party control from the “moderates.”

The GOP in the state has gotten itself on the wrong side of important issues since the days of Schwarzenegger.
