Democratic Rep. Kyrsten Sinema has won Arizona's open U.S. Senate seat, beating Republican Rep. Martha McSally. The race between Sinema and McSally was one of the most closely watched in the nation. Sinema was declared the winner Monday as her lead grew insurmountable during Arizona's lengthy vote-count. Sinema is a former liberal activist who became a centrist member of Congress. Her win follows years of Democratic shutouts at the statewide level in Arizona and shows that the longtime Republican bastion is becoming a swing state.

Montana and Arizona were there for the taking.

Another factor in play in the MT and WV contests was the lack of a home-grown candidate on our side. Jon Tester connects with the people of MT because they see he is from there and sort of looks like what a native-born resident would look like. Manchin's opponent in WV was a NJ native. Silly reasons, I know, but the 'Rats will kill a 'Pub candidate they brand as a carpetbagger. Of course, its perfectly fine for a 'Rat to be a carpetbagger.

We are the only ones who know she was on the far-left. To the media she’s a moderate.

Praying for Scott to prevail in Florida, especially since Hyde-Smith might have blown her chances in the Mississippi run-off against Espy. Hyde-Smith apparently made some stupid remark about public hangings, likely triggering an accelerated turnout among African Americans. Imagine losing Thad Cochran’s seat to a RAT.

Why cannot the GOP improve their messaging and candidate discipline so that don’t keep shooting themselves in the foot.

Gotta love voter fraud..a Republican wins the Governors race in the exact same area by a huge margin, but Im supposed to believe those same people who voted for a REPUBLICAN Governor would also vote for a Democrat Commie Senator who called everyone in Arizona nuts and on Meth..yeah Im supposed to believe that

Agree.

Someone posted on another thread, questioning how of the 350,000 (?) R votes, that a large % voted for Simena, after voting R for Doocey?

Just doesn’t make sense. I’d like to know how many total votes were cast, in the state compared to how many this commie got.

Where were all of the GOP ads, playing 24/7 in AZ, educating folks on just who this commie really is?

I’m just finding it so hard to believe that the RNC/GOP was caught SO off guard, for all of these races, across the country.

Mexico is taking revenge for 1840, and with the Democrats as the Generals in this war. The Mexicans are just the foot soldiers. Oh and expect some May Poloumbo human sacrifices. That Conga part needs some White Ango brains to make it smart and giver it greater power: Mayo Palombo type cult that kidnapped a Christian college student and ripped his brain from his skull by means of a machete

‘Sinema’ sounds like a porno channel, not a Senator.

Every Democrat losing candidate and his/her mother is screaming for a recount, but McSally asks for nothing. So why are you screaming about Trump?

I live in Arizona, I don’t think this was a case of voter fraud. Republican governor Ducey won by 300,000 votes, an anti-tax raising proposition won by a huge margin, and a dumb@ss proposition which would have doubled or tripled electric bills was crushed. But on the same ballots, more people voted for Sinema than McSally.
.
Sinema is a total phony, masquerading as a centrist, and the fake news media covered for her 100%. McSally, I’m sorry to say, ran a very mediocre campaign.

Deliberate. Losing because they're used to being the minority and they DON'T want Trump.

Letting the Dems what should have been the biggest red wave of all time was 2nd nature.

I worked for and supported Dr. Kelli Ward in the primary. I was not happy that McSally jumped into the race only after Ward knocked out Flake.

Having said that, I voted for McSally because our President needs all the Republicans he can get in the Senate.

Unfortunately, a lot of Ward and Arpaio supporters refused to do so. I hope they’ll be happy with their new Senator.

To be honest it wasn’t stolen. McSally was a terrible candidate. She was not personable, she attacked Sinema instead of having others attack, tons was spent on the primary and it was major league ugly.

Sinema had the college aged, the LGBT community and the Hispanic community behind her. Add to that the Californians who have moved here because they want to make this a socialist paradise and you have the results we just saw.

“California and massive migration is what is wrong with Arizona.”

I thought that too, at first.

But if that’s true, then how was Ducey re-elected governor with a margin of 325,000 votes to spare?

She was a bad candidate. You have to be able to connect with people and she is just plain socially awkward and Sinema played that up. Sinema was all soft and feminine ( even though most don’t know she is BiSexual).

McSally was just the wrong candidate
