BROWARD COUNTY, Fla. — As the race for U.S. Senate, governor and agriculture commissioner appear to be headed to recounts, a strange anomaly has surfaced.
In Broward county, Senate undervotes appear on nearly 4 percent of all ballots. That’s ballots where a vote was not counted for U.S. Senate, despite votes being cast in other races.
What makes the anomaly even stranger, is that it appeared in a county that Democratic incumbent Sen. Bill Nelson and Democratic gubernatorial candidate Andrew Gillum desperately needed to score well in. A WESH 2 News analysis of votes cast in various races, shows 701,469 votes were cast in the governor’s race in Broward.
Yet, just 676,706 votes were cast in the Senate race. This discrepancy appears despite the fact that the Senate race was at the top of the ballot. It means 24,763 more votes were cast for governor than for Senate.

I'll explain the Broward County "undervote" for Nelson: A lot of black voters cast their votes for Gollum but wouldn't vote for an old white guy.
Have they counted the dead Democrats ballots yet?

What about votes in the other races? We’re there under votes? It tells me that they figured they needed to give the black candidate a cushion in order for him to win. And it was too much effort and time to do more for other races. Affirmative Action vote fraud.

In the old days of paper ballots, if you checked two boxes and were entitled to just one, the votes for that office were disqualified.
What a pantload. Are Republicans going to let them get away with this?
The democrats in PB, Broward and Dade tried this same tactic in the 2000 election.
If the people can’t trust the ballot box, there is only one box left to trust.

Repeal the ill-conceived 17th Amendment.
The 16th Amendment needs to disappear too.
Who didn’t see his happening? Bet there are more.
So, how do they handle an undervote? Decide it should be voted if it was a straight party ticket the rest of the way?
Earlier story on this said the so called undervotes were equally split between ballots voting for the Dem and the Rep.

Chadalicious. And, most likely EVERY single “undercounted” vote is for nelson. WTH is undercounted? There were places on my ballot I left unmarked. Gee, who did voter X really want to pick here?
So furking what? People just left it blank, what’s wrong with that? I left my ballot blank in a Rat vs. Rat race.
