BROWARD COUNTY, Fla. As the race for U.S. Senate, governor and agriculture commissioner appear to be headed to recounts, a strange anomaly has surfaced.
In Broward county, Senate undervotes appear on nearly 4 percent of all ballots. Thats ballots where a vote was not counted for U.S. Senate, despite votes being cast in other races.
What makes the anomaly even stranger, is that it appeared in a county that Democratic incumbent Sen. Bill Nelson and Democratic gubernatorial candidate Andrew Gillum desperately needed to score well in. A WESH 2 News analysis of votes cast in various races, shows 701,469 votes were cast in the governors race in Broward.
Yet, just 676,706 votes were cast in the Senate race. This discrepancy appears despite the fact that the Senate race was at the top of the ballot. It means 24,763 more votes were cast for governor than for Senate.

F(** sarcasm I’M PISSED! POTUS and the FLA Governor just going to sit by and watch these bastard STEAL this election!
FFLA
[ Thousands of senate undervotes discovered in crucial Florida county ]
It’s a miracle! Praise Obama and Allah!
In the good old days, you could just “find” 5000 votes for one candidate in the trunk of a car or in a church basement
Broward County is a cesspool of crooked politics.
The Rats are really going big this time. Theyre going to steal both the governor and senate seats.
POTUS better get people down ther ASAP.
DJT is a fighter, this will not stand.
Yet, just 676,706 votes were cast in the Senate race.
So? There were about 25,000 people who were willing to vote for Nelson and not Gillum.
So what?
Gillum was far, far left.
Nelson, not so obviously far left.
Nelson was an incumbent.
Gillum an outsider.
Saw a video on Twitter today showing horrible ballot chain of custody procedures. People from various precincts driving in personally owned vehicles, with only one person in the car delivering ballots to a rental truck.
It was supposedly in Broward County.
“This discrepancy appears despite the fact that the Senate race was at the top of the ballot. It means 24,763 more votes were cast for governor than for Senate.”
More people care about a governor’s race than a senate race.
So they want to count votes that were not actually cast as votes that were actually cast?
Sounds legit!
It doesnt dawn on these people that those 24K voters were only interested in the Governors race (in more ways than one)?
An undervote is a ballot where the voter did not choose a candidate and it’s pretty common, especially when Obama was president. this reads as speculation and wishful thinking on the part of the reporter.
Some people probably just voted for the black guy.
There is no such thing as an “undervote,” it’s a term that USA Today and AP made up in 2000 while trying to help steal an election for Gore. There is who voted and who did not. There is no under - or over - voting. PEriod.
Leftist SOBs! They will do ANYTHING to retain power.
No blacks in the Senate race, so fewer blacks voted
Blood is thicker than brains
