Election Day turnout in Democrat areas is low.
Really now.
I thought they were loaded to bear to vote out Trump! Silly me.
AH, ok thanks :)
Did you listen to the podcast? Dave Trotter, who is a Democrat operative, indicated that registered Democrat turnout at the polling places today is off substantially, while Unaffiliated voters are voting over their registration numbers in Broward/Palm Beach, etc. They are clearly worried about these numbers, at least as of 11:45 a.m. today.
Maybe legalizing Marijuana wasn’t such a bad idea after all................
Listen to the podcast.
Where I live it is 25 feet. We have a nice demarkation line they don’t go past.
Only 2 campaigners, one being from the fire department for a local issue, today.
I have shown up to vote and seen upwards of 15 people electioneering, including a US Senatorial candidate and a US Rep candidate.
For demographic purposes, it’s about 80 D/20 R, upper middle class. Lots of small business owners, lawyers, doctors, college professors. They vote liberal until it comes to messing with their school district.
That’s because prolonged rage leads to either insanity or depression.
BINGO!!! Probably explains why Democrats closed the EV gap over the last few days of EV. They saw the disastrous early numbers and decided to get out every voter they could.
1:30 pm EST (Dave Trotter): Numbers not looking great for the Democrats but NPAs could come through for them.
1:25 pm EST: (Kartik Krishnaiyer): Hearing very good things for the GOP in terms of #ElectionDay turnout from each of the following CRITICAL areas: Eastern Hillsborough, Northern Pinellas, Eastern Palm Beach & SW Miami-Dade. Keep an eye out. Dems appeared poised for a big day here in Florida entering today. Maybe not after all.
It’s like Christmas Day!
By 11 am? Everybody knows that Demwits dont crawl out of bed before noon.
I just passed the polls and noticed no signs outside. It’s usually covered up with signs and electioneering. I’m about to go pick up my mom to vote.
Is it raining there? Rats always complain that rain keeps them from voting.
If Rats cant flip FL, its gonna be a bloodbath for them tonight.
It’s a logical leap and may not hold true. But generally speaking across the country Dems lead in party registration and GOP turnout is usually higher on election day. To win, Dems need to go vote. So if turnout is weak, it suggests that the Dem registration advantage is neutralized since more of those showing up are registered GOP.
It of course says nothing about who they voted for, and it may not even hold true that more GOP voters are coming to the polls. It’s just using ‘conventional wisdom’ to read into what’s happening on the ground. If it is even true. This is one anecdotal observation.
The Florida GOP did ramp-up their GOTV efforts to 11.
I was getting texts from them on my phone, and I don’t
even live in Florida.
If all the polls are way off, watch for the meltdown tomorrow.
