It is my birthday today, so I get to post the live thread. :)
Some places to watch:

I’ve noticed a subtle culture shift on TCM since the passing of Robert Osborne.
They seem to have taken on the mantle of SJW.
Shame really but there are still some great films for now.
Unless they have decided never to show “Gone with the Wind” again.
If you stream check out Kanopy. https://www.kanopy.com/
Just got through voting in Kansas, Go Kobach!

Anyhow I'll fess up for the first time ever I voted for a democrat for Senate, for Fienstein. Ahhh stop throwing things.
I thought after all she gave us the Kavanaugh smear job that got the Republicans energized its least I could do.
I think if the House holds and seats are gained in the senate she'll be one of the main scapegoats and I'd like her there for the roasting.
I'm pretty sure in this instance my vote doesn't matter. I still feel dirty and there is this small feeling of self-loathing in my stomach.
Hoping to see those grins wiped off their faces in the next couple of hours.

The polls close at 6 PM local time statewide. The closing times aren’t split - the time zones split the state.
Remember in 2000 - in Florida, the panhandle polls remained open, the most conservative part of the state, but all the media repeatedly kept announcing all of the polls were closed, and even called the state for Gore - while the polls were in fact still open - it was estimated that cost Bush a net of 10,000 votes because people did not vote because they were told the polls were closed and Gore had already won the state. Had that not occurred, all of the drama would never have occurred that occurred in the month and a half that followed. Extraordinary how close the media came to pulling that off. A lawsuit was filed against the networks and it was settled with an agreement they would not announce polls were closed while they were in fact still open.
He lies like his father.
Polls are way off. Then again, the numbers out of IN, expected.
If I knew your age, I could give you its numerical significance, to the extent it has any.
Reporting from behind the lines in Arlington County, VA, where I voted “I SAID NO!” at 6:45 am...
Typical polls traffic and full of Dem and activists out front as usual. Don’t see an elevated turnout.
What is interesting is the COMPLETE lack of campaign signs. The only one on my block, which would normally have several Commie banners out front, is for the independent (aka Republican Lite) County Board candidate up for reelection (Vihstadt) and a freak-job leftist yet fiscal conservative independent for School Board (Clement).
Zero congressional candidate signs and zero Senate signs. God I hope Kaine goes away (and Warner soon to follow).
It seems that leftist enthusiasm is absent. When they’re all agitated they put signs up all over their yards and cars. Nothing this season.
I went through a Blanton phase, but now I’m Buffalo Trace and Weller’s. Weller’s is wheat based so it is something different, but also from Buffalo Trace Distillery. Same place that produces Pappy Van Winkle. Tough on my budget, but even hard to find a bottle.
Are you sure? Braun winning?
Waiting on a long line in the rain that is literally wrapped around the block. Never have I seen such a crowd for Manhattan! Of course, they are all talking about voting Trump out of office...I am tuning everyone out and excited to vote straight Republican!
BBG’s headlights will probably be the only bright spot tonight in this damn state!!
Happy birthday Laz!!! ;)
I voted earlier in KS-02. My middle school sons said Kobach won their schools mock election in an epic landslide. So did Watkins, btw.
wow.. I knew the stupid was thick out there.. but it’s out of control.
be sure not to catch it my friend ;)
In my above post I was talking about Kentucky and Indiana closing at 6 PM local time - Florida I believe is 7 PM local time.
I’m probably gonna have to pee a lot tonight.
