He never trailed in the polls. He’s a pretend moderate. Enough people buy it. And by people I mean women.

At least the slimball fake populist STALINIST running in WV-2 got handed his butt.

The biggest mistake Cruz ever made was running for president. He alienated a lot of people.

Yes, he did. I fully supported Ted when he ran for the Senate in 2012, and felt a bit tricked when he chose to run for president just two years into his term.

Great point.

Dems night not nearly what they thought. They told everyone there was going to be a blue wave. Not even close. Looks like frustration to me.

Excellent! Go Rosendale. Really hoping for Heller and McSally, but it would be nice to get Big Sky insurance policy.

Obama and Clinton didn’t have to deal with 40 anti-Trumpers retiring. Otherwise Trump would have probably maintained the house too.

What are the odds that this was done on purpose to hurt Trump?

Heller is trailing in early returns from Nevada. This is our most vulnerable seat.

“Yes, he did. I fully supported Ted (Cruz) when he ran for the Senate in 2012, and felt a bit tricked when he chose to run for president just two years into his term.

I got over that, and began donating to his campaign, but switched to Trump some time in July of 2015. Over the course of the primary, Ted really lost me. Took me a long time after his “vote your conscience” moment at the convention to get on board with him again.”

YEP!!! You said it all. I was going to write something similar. In 2012, I supported Cruz in his Primary because he was a damn good conservative. Then, of course, I voted for him and celebrated his win in November of that year.

But, thanks to his antics, this time I was voting to keep the Senate RED and keep Beto out of the Senate. Cruz could have just as easily been Lisa Murkowski and I would have voted for him...I have that little respect left for him.

A small majority in the House isn’t a real win.

Look, I know where you're coming from. But a Dem majority in the House, however small, is still a win for the Dems. It will definitely make MAGA much more difficult, if not put it on hold for the next two years.

Trust me, it is better to control the Senate but not be able to pass all of your agenda than it is to have the Dems control the Senate.

Something is better than nothing. A rule of life to live by. Only those who have never experienced nothing can understand this.

Ask Californians whether they would rather have a Republican majority in the state legislature who are half RINOs— or whether they would rather continue to live under a Dam legislature.

100% will choose the former. Trust me.

Sure, TN deserves better, just like Utah. That’s not what I’m talking about. I’m talking about actual blue states or deep purple states.

All of the people on FR cheering because most of the Republicans who are losing tonight are “RINOs” from blue or deep purple states don’t know what the hell they are talking about. Great, so you got rid of a bunch of RINOs, and now you have Pelosi as a result. That’s supposed to be a victory?
