Agree. I don’t think it’s a rout, either.

But having a governor who gets to appoint three State Supreme Court Judges will.

“First midterm election for new President:

Clinton 1994

House -54
Senate -8

Obama 2010

House -63
Senate -6

Trump 2018

House -30 (roughly)
Senate +4 or +5”

Obama and Clinton didn’t have to deal with 40 anti-Trumpers retiring. Otherwise Trump would have probably maintained the house too.

Yep. I thought 5 in the Senate. And the Dems only getting a 3-8 seat majority is not a win for them.

“ALL the measures went down except 102 which means more b o nds for homeless housing we get to pay for”

Thanks. The corruption is so bad now, I’m sure they just changed the vote totals to whatever they wanted. /spit

Interesting...

So ‘they’ already gamed this scenario out and prepared for it.

As Spock says: “fascinating”!

Thanks, was hoping different as I used up my free passes there. Thanks for updates. Does it look like we can get MT with what’s left outstanding?

“We had history against us, but the real killer was the 45 (was that the number?) retirements. I know you can’t force an officeholder to stay on if they don’t want to, and some of them were dead wood. But trying to fill 45 vacancies plus buck the historic trend, well, I’m surprised it wasn’t an even bigger bloodbath.”

In any normal midterm, we would’ve got slaughtered just like Obama, just like Bush, just like Clinton.

In the new reality, Donald Trump generated results no one else really could’ve.

I wish the Nancys around here would step back from the ledge.

Walker lead grows to 1500 with 97% reporting.

Looks like an even number of precincts out in counties each candidate is winning. This will got to the final precinct.
