I don’t have stake on why, I just know it’s going to be 2 years of Pelosi and Waters hell

Reckon there will be a couple of security guards walking Jeff sessions out to his car with a box of his stuff.

Understood, but don’t you find Beto at 48% in Texas disturbing?

I agree with you. Trump as we all know is a 3D chess player. Get Senate. Get judges in place, etc. Then circle the wagons around Pelosi and company.

We have a Red Wall. Chuck-U.can no longer stop Trump court nominations.

These will sail right through as well as another Supreme Court nomination should one open up in 2019.

Disappointed to see that South Carolina 1st District may flip blue. Katie Arrington is a good candidate who was nearly killed in an auto accident shortly after the primary in June. Spent a good amount of time in the hospital this summer. Had to put her at a major disadvantage with campaigning and fundraising. But race is not called yet.

Both MS seats count as holds, not gains, as recent rat Hyde-Smith is technically an R. To get to 56 we need to pick up MT too.

I’m sorry you had to vote for that asshole but thank you

And if it makes you feel any better, I once let a bunch of people talk me into voting for him and that other asshole Ryan for the presidency.

never ever again

>>>Maybe that’s irrational but that’s where I am.

Yes, it's irrational. I understand it...but it's irrational. But it's not as bad as some of the predictions that said we would gain multiple seats in the house and have 60 seats in the senate...or that Mendez would lose and the few that said Warren would.

Now THAT is irrational. :-)

Looks like never Trump hater Mia Love is going down.

The women could not hide her rage against Trump, so we lose the seat.

Then Americans will get to see them for what they really are.

It's a "pyrrhic victory" for the Rats.

Need to retake House in 2020, obliviously.

Unlike Clinton I think Trump getting reelected but not getting the House back is very unlikely.

The worst thing he could do is “do deals” with the democrats. Let them shut down the government.

It was a mixed night. We picked up seats in the Senate, which will make our judicial picks easier to pass. We held on to some important Governorships, like FL, Texas and GA. We barely lost the House, so they are working with a very slim majority.

Reagans America was a different place, without the intense tribalism and class war of these times. The communal hatred of today was entirely absent in the 1980s.

There was room and ability to compromise then. These days there is no way to compromise. Half the population sincerely wants the other half dead.

For what? They don’t like him ... and they want revenge for Clinton. They vote as a block so it will happen. Rationale — doesn’t matter. And there is nothing the Republicans can do about it. Get used to it.

meh..not really considering the money and media/Hollywood hype behind him, not to mention voters who love POTUS still have an ax to grind with Cruz. POTUS visit to TX damn sure put Cruz over the hump.
