I went to vote today at 1230 in the Clear Lake area of Houston. The polls open at 1300. This is the first time in my memory that they have been open on a Sunday. The line was around the building and down the block. It took over 40 minutes to get into the building. They had twice as many voting machines as usual. I talked to a few all came there after church. I figure those will be republican votes. Truly a massive turn out.
By the new(ish) courthouse annex on El Camino?
No the library near Specs.
Yes, both Kingwood and Clear Lake are strong conservative voting blocs.
Did any of the machines change their vote? Happened to someone I know in Houston.
This bring up an ongoing problem that happens throughout all U.S. cities and, especially, throughout all of the largest U.S. cities. All of the largest U.S. cities are, overwhelmingly, pro-Leftist, and this is the ongoing, “existing since day one” problem with conservatives and conservatism. If conservatism should, ever and finally, end the political monopoly that all cities continue to have with The Left, then it, really, would be over for The Left.
There was a 40 minute wait at the Cinco Ranch Public Library
in Katy Texas last Tuesday also.

Hi, Arglockguy,
Unless they’re from your church and you know their views I would not blithely accept they’re all going to vote Republican.
There’s a good many (millions, unfortunately) Social-Feel-Good Churchs and their pews are filled to the brim with Democrats.
And then you have the We-Hate-Anyone-Who-Isn’t-White Churchs that have no problem having Maxine Waters do a screed of pure hatred.
The best thing is to encourage everyone you think or may know to be conservative to vote Republican.
This is Conservative area also so good news....
