There is no such thing as “transgender”. One is either male or female as a immutable biological fact. To think otherwise is shear madness. Accept reality and live with it.
Yes, 0.0005 percent or thereabouts. Homosexuals are around 2% and yet they act like they are the majority.

Homosexuals of all types make up just 2.5% of the population. Out of 320 million people, they number about 8 million total.
Transqueers are a small minority of that community. If I had to guess, I’d say they probably number a hundred thousand or less.
Statistically, they’re a vanishingly small segment of the overall population, but look at the huge amount of press they get. It’s ridiculous.

That this unnatural, abnormal and minuscule portion of society gets so much media voice...well, it just damns media people as being as perverted as this subject.

This is really ludicrous! These folks saying they won’t be erased......they are erasing themselves; nobody else is doing it! There has to be some sort of orderly system for gender identification & we have a good one already. A law officer or other official trying to identify someone according to their gender can’t read what crazy notions may be going on in their minds. I think the president is right in what he ordered. Keeps someone from doing something claiming he/she is a dog & only acted out of instinct & therefore can’t be held responsible. So it seems to come down to a matter of irresponsibility IMHO.

They’re free to call themselves whatever they want. And Trump has no objection to this. But there’s got to be a base for their administrative treatment and their technical classification. Why should a biological man have won a masters (40+) women’s cycling championship, for example, just because he said he was a woman. We disqualified the Russians from the Olympics several times for doing this, that is, giving male hormones to their female competitors to give them a muscle building edge...but even that didn’t change the fundamental build or structure of these women, so they were still female but just boosted up physically. However...take a look at the big guy in the bicycle race claiming he’s a woman (he hasn’t even had surgery or hormones) and beating these two real women. It will turn your stomach.
The baseline has got to be fundamental genetics. You are born male or female; in the cases of people who have both genitalia, a chromosome check could determine which is more dominant. The genitalia confusion is like having a sixth toe or one of the other abnormalities that occur at certain weeks of pregnancy. Once upon a time people didn’t know this, so the sex assignment was the choice of the family or the doctor (usually male). But we know a lot more now.
If some nutcase wants to think he’s a woman or she’s a man, fine...but the baseline for everything should still be their basic genetic sex characteristics if there’s any ambiguity in their physical features. Otherwise, it’s always been pretty easy for doctors or parents to tell a normal baby boy from a normal baby girl.
Can’t erase something that never existed.
Just read how more and more of them are wanting “reversals”, which sounds about like erasing a mistake. They can go to hell.
