Listen–Pat Buchanan: Migrant Caravan Is Trump’s Chance to Stop ‘Third World Invasion of the West’
Breitbart News ^ | 10/21/18 | Pat Buchanan

Posted on 10/21/2018 10:24:36 PM PDT by OddLane

Populist conservative author and columnist Pat Buchanan says the migrant caravan of more than 4,000 Honduran and Central American nationals is President Trump’s chance to demonstrate that he can stop the “third world invasion of the West.”

During an interview with Raymond Arroyo on the Laura Ingraham Show, Buchanan said the migrant caravan headed to the U.S.-Mexico border is an opportunity for Trump ahead of the 2018 midterm elections to show that he has the willpower to stop mass immigration at America’s borders.

Here’s the bottom line...the invasion will continue until either we are conquered, or we summon the will to stop them and expel them, with deadly force if needed.

I don’t understand you & Joe6pack. POTUS is commander & chief of the military. When people say you & what army POTUS has one.
If he can’t deploy the troops to close the border in that area he is all bark & no bite. I don’t believe he will allow that to happen. POTUS has said this mob of migrants will not cross our border. He does not indulge in empty words.
They will not cross and he will use this crisis not waste it.

Our U.S. government has a separation of powers between three branches: the executive, the legislative and the judicial. The President can’t do it all by himself.

You are so wrong. Because whenever some leftwing judge or a neutered congress goes against the president your kind supports the action as absolute and immutable.

Listen up--the three co-equal branches of government were NOT created to act IN UNISON. They were created to CROSS-CHECK one another. There is a difference.

Class dismissed.

Wrong. There are catch-and-release laws that Congress must act against first.

Buchanan saw this coming decades ago but the failed GOPe, along with their political counterparts, the neo-Bolsheviks, chose to side of the invaders over Americans.

Is there a country in Latin America that would allow millions of whites to move there with the intention of turning it into a white country?

(1) I've read Pat Buchanan's history books. His distaste for war and support of nationalism are terrific. I don't need "Civics lessons on FR". Perhaps you need to read books about how Rome and other over-reaching civilizations failed.

(2) President Trump is Commander in Chief. This is an organized, financed invasion. Of course he can defend our borders. The real questions are how a President can authorize arming terrorists in Syria and regime change all over the place without Congressional approval.

POTUS promised an army to stop them. I hold him to his word. He hasn’t disappointed yet.

“The only chance we have to stop this in the future is to win the midterms.”

Yes. These animals need to be stopped. The mid-terms, if we win more seats, is the best way to handle future invaders. Trump will have more support and can accomplish what he needs to to build the wall and enforce current laws.

Sadly, if he doesn’t stop the current invasion he will look weak. He didn’t stop the last one. It’s a tough situation.

Lock up Soros and his sons this week and confiscate all their funds. When the invaders stop receiving cash payment, many/most will slow down or go away.

“I trust Trump.”

I trust Trump because I trust God, who answered our prayers to save America. We’ve been praying for God to give PDJT wisdom to resolve this the best way possible. He’s between a rock and a hard place.

Hondouras must be occupied and a military government established. The invaders can then be returned to occupied Hondouras under American military rule.

Occupied Hondouras will then become an ilegal alien containment area where illegals arrested in the lower 48 can be transported and held pending legal proceedings in immigration courts established there.

climate change, eh? Enviroweenies are always trying to wrap their blanket around a problem that has nothing to do with them.

I wonder what the alternative reasons could be?

how about banking crisis and oil prices?

(from 2009: “The country’s current account balance has declined from -$1.977 billion in 2008 to -$247 billion in 2009 due to the global financial crisis and the consequent decline in trade... The increase in the country’s current account deficit for 2008 is attributable to a sharp increase in global oil prices.”

http://www.economywatch.com/world_economy/honduras/export-import.html

And then there’s overpopulation:

“The World Bank study Poverty Assessment in Guatemala reported that the country reduced its poverty rate from 56 percent to 51 percent between 2000 and 2006. However, official figures indicate that poverty rose to 59.3 percent in 2014. Of all people living in poverty in the country, 52 percent are indigenous...”

https://www.worldbank.org/en/country/guatemala/overview

With an economy supported by Emigration:

“....World Bank acknowledged that Guatemala maintains one of the best economic performances in Latin America, achieving rates of growth above 3% since 2012 and around 4% in 2015, thanks to prudent macroeconomic management...Economists are in agreement that this stability has in large part been brought about by revenues generated by family members – the direct result of CONSTANT EMIGRATION (emphasis added) …

...The Bank of Guatemala (Banguat) made it known that transfers of money from abroad were in excess of 6.28 billion US dollars at the close of 2015 representing an increase of 13.4 percentage points over 2014 (5.54 billion US dollars).
As a result of this and other factors, Guatemala continues to be the largest economy in Central America...

http://theprisma.co.uk/2016/07/25/guatemala-the-paradox-of-inequality-the-cruelty-of-poverty/

Because of lack of Social Progress:

“The World Bank insists that higher economic growth might encourage plans to reduce poverty though it admits that policies in favour of the poor would only produce marginal improvements due to the sizeable and accumulated effects of a lack of social progress.
However, the document does point out that if Guatemala grows at 5% annually over the next years and this growth does not come at the expense of the poor the impact on poverty and equality will be significant.
And it adds that with this, levels of poverty will be reduced by one additional percentage point at the end of 2016...”

didn’t see much about global warming or climate change, did you?

and we get, an army of people who have no marketable skills other than substinence farming, which in America has long gone mechanized and automated, or carpentry skills too primitive for Municipal Code, and no concept of 9-5/365. Most speak regional dialects, not Spanish. And women with babies with no language skills aren’t going to be working any time soon, or at all without job training and even then at no more than minimum wage subsistence levels. 60% have no basic education because their government doesn’t have a tax base large enough to support the expense. Between American Foreign Aid, investments in manufacturing, and Emigrant Remittances, they may be the largest economy in central America, but there is no country without the US, so they might as well stay in place.

I’m waiting for the first grocery stores in messico to be wiped out in less than an hour by the marching hoardes ala Venezuela. Might wake up the Federales when they realize they’re not going to get their kickbacks from those grocers
