Heavily financed horde of Central American migrants has overwhelmed token resistance from Mexican military and advanced north toward Southern U.S. border. As described by Associated Press today: “growing army of migrants resumes march toward US.” This is a well financed, well organized, left-wing political operation strategically timed to reach the U.S. border and coincide with the 2018 mid-term election.
Estimates as to the number of economic migrants varies between 7,000 to 10,000 and the numbers are growing fast as they are now facilitated by, and joined by, ideological comrades within Mexico. The ‘invasion force’ is now more than two-miles long. The group claims to be fleeing violence in Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, yet the group has deployed violence against Mexican officials who are vastly outnumbered.
President Trump has requested that Mexican officials stop the advancement of the massive group and praised any efforts therein. However, it appears there is a disconnect between what actions U.S. officials think is happening – and the actual advancement on the ground. Those marching toward the U.S. are no longer finding any resistance.
As explained in a USA Today review: “Sunday the crowd was large and the mood mostly ecstatic. Olivin Castellanos, 58, a truck driver and mason from Villanueva, Honduras, said he took a raft into Mexico. He hopes to work in construction in the United States.” “No one will stop us, only God,” he said. “We knocked down the door and we continue walking.”
Initially the group was between 3,000 and 5,000. However, in the past 36 hours the numbers have grown considerably; seeming to double in size overnight.

Democrats are saying that the caravan numbers several tens of thousands, and that Trump must stop them all by himself despite the catch-and-release laws, the activist judges and the big media drama with women and children. Democrats are saying that either the President must do it all by himself, or that we should refuse to vote.

Act of War by Mexico. Cut them off from the SWIFT Financial System; would bring them to their knees in about 2 days. Plus it would cut off all funds transferring back south of the border.
Absolutely... And it won’t be an unarmed invasion by the time they get here. They will be arming themselves with drugs and firearms on the way through Mexico and it will be a very real ARMED INVASION hitting our border.
If there was ever a time to recall the minutemen this would be it.
It seems to me, that if the Mexican authorities had any sense, and desired to control their own territory, that they would arrest 100 invaders at a time from the end of the column, until this invasion is broken up. Then deport them back across the Guatemalan border. Otherwise, this fiasco is going to greatly damage American/Mexican relations, and we would be justified in sanctions and worse to punish a corrupt Mexican government complicit with this rather obvious leftist assault on America.
If 50k hit the border, the U.S. will slowly admit nearly all of them, detain them until they get "hearing" dates for asylum that none of them qualify for, and an Obama or NeverTrump judge will order all of them released until those hearings that they never show up for.
We saw three trains full of military equipment going through to California yesterday, Might be nothing though, they come through occasionally taking equipment to be rebuilt in Barstow. But the timing is suspect and we haven’t seen any going that direction in quite awhile.
