50K Pounds of Meat Destroyed After Employee Caught Peeing at Workstation
10-18-18
CONTRIBUTORS Eric Sorensen, David Mantey
Founded in 1936, Smithfield Foods is a food manufacturer based out of Virginia that is "passionate about producing good food the right way."
(Excerpt) Read more at ien.com ...
"Footage of the alleged incident reported by WAVY shows the worker moving products onto a conveyor belt when he takes off his gloves, and allegedly relieves himself. What I don't understand is why the worker took off his gloves."
Maybe he just wanted to get in touch with himself?
Honestly, I don’t know why they didn’t use it for dog food or something like that. Had it been a number 2, canines wouldn’t have minded, if my mutts are any indication (not that I’ve tried that at home).
Also from the article...
“The employee has been suspended pending a complete investigation.”
Suspended? My god, something that vile should be rewarded with immediate termination and legal action by Smithfield Foods.
work the zipper pull ?
Yellow journalism.
Parent CompNy: WH Group, Luohe, Henan province, China
hah
In more ways than one. Smithfield Foods is owned by the Chinese.................
Dog food plants are inspected, I’m sure by the government, but more importantly by Wal Mart and other big boxes that carry their product. People are nuts about their pets, and dog food plants are probably cleaner than this meat plant.
Their new slogan should be,
“Buy Smithfield meat,
urine for a treat.”
yep, with muslim operators?
What will happen to the perp if he turns out to be a member of a protected class or muslim?
Smithfield is getting to be more and more popular where I live.
As usual, anything with a touch of China has me wondering if it’s really pork or chicken or is it cat or dog?
I would bet that these ‘employees’ are from a sh!thole country....................
And you thought Trump had a problem with leaking employees!
I know some people probably cringe over the thought, but I rinse ALL my meat thoroughly before I cook it.
Well, except hamburger and sausage and bacon and stuff like that. But whatever can be rinsed, gets rinsed.
Same with veggies.
You just can’t beat OUR Meat!...................
If the industry was allowed to radiate foods, none of the bacteria would survive..................
LOL great play on words.
